Comment: Thank you for everything! Can't wait to read the book on Frank Lloyd Wright! The bookmark is so cute - and love the envelopes! Thanks so much for trading with me!
Response: I'm glad you liked the package. Thanks for remembering to rate even in the middle of moving! You are amazing! Let me know if you'd like to talk about the FLW book when you are done...I was hoping you had not read it, and thought about asking but didn't want to spoil the surprise element of the swap by asking you ahead of time. I'm so glad that it is new to you!
Comment: WoooHooo! I have been wanting one of these. I've never seen any (except for pictures online) and they always peak my curiosity. Now I am the PROUD owner of 3 tile pendants! You've done a fantastic job. They are so very cool! Thank you for a great swap!
Response: I'm so glad you like them! They were fun to make and it was a nice challenge looking for tiny squares on tea foils that would look good as necklaces! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: OMG, thank you SO much!
When this package arrived, I wondered what it could be, as it seemed too big for an inchie swap.
I loved all the geeky jokes etc. you wrote on the outside, the perfect box you displayed them in, the fact you read my profile & included freezer paper off my wishlist (it's nothing like I've seen before and I will definitely try using it for my next sewing project).
And most importantly, I absolutely ADORE the inchies, they are PERFECT!
They exactly match the colour scheme I wanted, and the dinosaur is amazing! (What is he made out of?). I can see how much careful work went into creating each and every one of them.
One of the best swap packages I’ve ever received.
You are AWESOME - and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to say all this!!

A thousand hearts to you!

Comment: Thank you so much for an absolutely fabulous swap package!!!! What an adorable little pocket-I love the size of it and the polar fleece on the back-I will definitely be putting it to good use. And you filled the pocket with such wonderful things! I love everything! The rickrack is so sweet; the beads are gorgeous; the teeny tiny bells will be going in my special tiny jar just for itty bitty things; the totoro stamp is so awesome; the pattern is wonderful just to look at (but I'm a bit afraid I won't be able to complete it--but I'm going to try!). And last but not least everything was packaged so cute!
Response: It made my day to read your rating! Thank you. I've seen your amigurumis on flickr--if you have any trouble with the Totoro, than it will have to be because of a flaw in the pattern, not your work.
Comment: Five hearts!!! Loved everything! Beautiful tube. And the poetry, I have carried them with me, read and reread and loved them. THanks for introducing me to Rita Costello and Andrew Hudgkins. And the goodies have made there way into various Halloween projects! Thanks!!! Pumpkin very cool

Comment: I love, Love, LOVE the pins! I've been wearing them, and you're getting all kinds of comments and compliments! =oD
Response: I'm so happy that the pins have found a good home with you. I love the idea of pins, but I seldom wear them. I think it is awesome that you are putting the pins to use! Thanks for that. And for the heart!
Comment: Fabulous. Thank you so much. And thanks for turning me on to Attic24. She crochets like my mom taught me as a child (crocheting tails in while going, instead of weaving them in later). What a wonderful site.
Comment: Thank you very much! You made not only my day, but my daughters too!!! She loved the Golden Snitch. .
Response: I'm really glad that you liked everything...the package felt really 'ramdom' to me, but I thought they were all things you'd like. It's good to hear that your daughter liked the Golden Snitch. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute package. Loved the bat theme on the outside. And the flowers inside the package! Nice. I like that the one type is of your own design! Thanks for joining my swap. Oh...and your card on the inside was just too cute. You are multi-talented!
Response: I'm glad you liked everything. Thanks for the compliments and for the heart.
I can't take credit for the card...that was made by patumma. I'll have to ask her to sign the backs next time she makes me swap cards!

He is the cutest crochet bee with the best little bunny disguise and I cannot tell you how he brightened my day when I received him. THANKYOU for the creativity, time and effort you put into this and for making it special to me =)
Response: I'm glad you liked him; he was fun to make!
Comment: I love the littlittle handmade scrubbies, but the recipe book is just over the top - thanks for making it so special by writing the recipes by hand. The prayers for my father are much appreciated - we hope he will be home next week. Hugs, Michele

Comment: Mei! I love everything you sent for this swap! Totally awesome! The earrings are beautiful, my daughter is enjoying the acorn locket and my cat Neo, well, he doesn't like the unicorn hat so much but it sure gave us some laughs! LOL! You can see a pic of him here!
Response: Thanks for sharing the picture of poor Neo! I am so glad that you liked everything. I hope we get a chance to swap again in the future--your profile is great and easy to mine for ideas!
Comment: Wow!! My very own ami!! I love him!! Thank you so much. He will be well treasured. I love everything you have sent me. The earrings and pendant are lovely and I wouldn't dream of cannibalising them!. Again many thanks for everything and yes I would love to do a private swap with you. Caroline x
Comment: Thank you for reading my profile & customizing the fabulous peacock tin just for me! How ironic that it started out so nearby. Even more ironic, my grandpa was a photographer in Akron. I really appreciate the cappuccino too. I will definitely try the blended recipe :)
Comment: The little plushie is adorable! I just love it! Thanks also for the GS pin box. You are so thoughtful. I also thank you for taking the time to review my profile and making my swaps profile-related.
Response: It took me a long time to brainstorm what to make, but once I finally knew what I was going to do, it all came together easily. I'm glad you liked it!
Comment: Totally amazing swap! Perhaps the BEST ever!! I think it's awesome that you took the time to really read my profile. It's soooo appreciated! I love and will use everything!! And thank you for the book suggestion! I am going to look for it this week when I hit up the library! :D
Response: Glad you liked everything. You'll have to tell me what you think when you finish the book!
Comment: Wow, that was a pretty heavy package. I laughed when I saw a butter knife slid out of the package, I thought "is she obsessed with cutlery?" Lol. Smooshing is a very unique obsession, I'll give it a try, thank you. :)
Response: I know, I was suprised at the heft of that little box! I couldn't have afforded to send you almost four pounds of metal goodies if not for the USPS's awesome flat rate boxes. I hope you'll let me know when you make something.
Comment: you made me LOL standing at a red light today, with a lot of people looking at me as if I'm some Crazy Lady. yeah.. that's how fun your note was. I see you walking around in your house going 'pippelotje, pippelotje' :D ;D. and than I had to open the jewelry set still..... so I couldn't wait until I was on a bench or a chair, no I HAD to open it whilst crossing the street with my arms full of baby and stroller and than I had to scream even louder. now people for sure thought I was a Crazy Lady.... I love it. the ring is fabulous and the poly clay tree is just awesome. thank you very much!
Response: This is a great story! Thanks for making me laugh too. I'm glad that you liked the ring and necklace. I was so nervous about this swap!
Comment: Thank you for the kind, generous, and thoughtful package. I loved all the little notes with the items. I couldn't believe all the things you packed into that box. I didn't have a crochet hook keeper and appreciate the instructions and such. I can't begin to tell you how much each different part of the package made me smile. For instance - I didn't even know I needed a tie-dyed tea wallet and polymer clay toast! Now I do! :) Thank you again. You rock!
Response: You are welcome. I'm really glad that you like the things I sent. It was fun putting them together and seeing how much I could fit in the box.
Comment: WOW what an awesome swap and an awesome morning!!!! Loved the tour thank you for that too. I am so glad we had this opportunity and I look forward to more swaps and especially visits with you!!!
Many hugs and many hearts!!! Pat
Response: It was great meeting you! I'm look forward to future swaps and visits with you too!
Comment: Thank you Mei, the felt is wonderful, such lovely colours and so soft ,and the roving, i am looking forward to making things with the felt,. i was wondering what to do with the bits that came off of the felt when i made it,
(i kept it ) am going to try to make my own roving with it now after i have carded it , my husband has suggested i use 2 small wire cat brushes to do the job, so i will buy them later today as i have quite a bit of the bits saved up in jars, i got the most from the red tartan. i love the bag patterns they will get used often, thanks again.
I am drinking a cup of the african fruit bowl tea at the moment, it is delicious. ♥
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything. I will be interested to see how the carding goes--you are even more ambitious than I am! If you have any trouble completing the cashmere rose, just let me know and I can send you a link to the tutorial. Good luck with the needlefelting. I'd love to see what you make; let me know when you get the results up on Folksy so that I can check them out.
Comment: Hey! Thank you so much for the AMAZING penny! I LOVE the little case for the penny! What a creative way to send them! I have to steal that idea. Your stationary is delightful and your thoughtfulness is effervescent! Many many thanks!
Response: You are more than welcome to make little penny sleeves! If you ever do 'steal' that idea, you'll have to give me some tips on how to sew on vinyl. It totally gives me the runaround!
Comment: WOW!!!!!!! Mei, what can i say ....... i was speechless (which is quite a feat if you knew me) what an absolutely perfect bracelet, i don't usually wear bracelets but this one is definitely one to be worn often, its just perfect for me, colours, pattern, everything. i have admired felted projects but alway feel a bit nervous of trying it, now if this is the sort of result that i could possibly produce , i am going to give it a try, what a sweet little card and such a nice letter, sukie is going to have the charm on her collar, thank you so much for that, and all wrapped up in a pattern which i am going to use to make some girls shorts overalls to sell at my craft fair in the summer, you really do deserve many more points than 5 and a whole bunch of hearts xx ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
** Addition to comments**
thanks for your kind comments on my store, i wondered what nature pictures you meant then i realised you meant the tree i hung the bags on, i did that last year while the tree was in leaf, i sent off for my first needle felting kit from ebay yesterday, needles, holder , sponge block and 50g of roving, Wahay!! i am going to be having fun soon.
Response: Thanks for the five and the heart. I hope you'll love needle felting as much as I do! It is super fun and easy, but a little time consuming. I'm glad that you'll get use out of the pattern...I was actually recycling it myself since I recieved it as wrapping in a swap. I think it is awsome that the pattern finally found the right owner. I plan to keep checking in on your store. I love your nature pictures.
Comment: Thanks so very much for this awesome little purse. I love the way you emrboidered my name to it and also the fabric so so lovely. Never seen such fabric before and just love it! Also thanks for the filling of the purse, just an amazing swap! You earned that heart for sure!
Response: I'm glad you liked your 'tiny thing'. I can't believe it got to you so quickly! I still have more of that fabric if you ever want a tea wallet, or something like that.
Comment: WOW!!! I'm sitting here playing with my new squished penny organizer. I never knew I needed one until you sent it to me. Makes it so much easier to view and enjoy! The tea organizer is brilliant! I was thinking we should swap again for a matching Instant coffee packet organizer. hehe! Your a wallet organizer super genius!!! And what a bonus gift! You sure know how to spoil a girl! I LOVE my hand crochet green leaf clover garland for Saint Patrick's Day! Your after my crafting heart! I would love to swap with you again. :D
Response: I'd love to trade with you again too! I'm really glad that you like the penny wallet--it was a real learning experience for me learning to sew vinyl. It kept sticking to the sewing machine! The clover chain was so quick and easy--I'm glad you like it. I couldn't find kelly green yarn in a natural fiber (at our local crafting mega-mart). I think it would be pretty to make the shamrocks from wool and then felt them before stringing them together.
Comment: You are AWESOME! My husband made fun of me because of how excited I got when I saw what you made me. I had seen a similar piece also (probably the same one you saw) and had thought how awesome it was and how I wished I could sew. When I opened this box my face lit up like a freaking Christmas tree! Everything about it is perfect... even the lining! What you call imperfections I actually thought you did some bunching on purpose. I think it's spectacular! The shamrocks are adorable and my 2 yr old is already begging to wear them! I also love that you included a nice personal note and took the time to read my profile. THANK YOU!!!!!! People like you are what make swapping worthwhile!
Response: Thanks for your kind comments. It is really rewarding to get such nice compliments and to know that the little owl has found a good home. Thanks especially for your comment about 'bunching on purpose' because it gave me an idea for what I could do differently next time. We've been wearing our shamrocks already, because once March gets here there are only so many days to wear green before it's over and time to move on to Easter. I'll send you a PM when I get your owl onto my blog...
Comment: Thanks so much. No I have not seen I panda myself but my daughter did this last fall in China while she was there for school. I am very envious of her but she brought me lots of postcard from China with pandas on them.
Response: I hope you get to see one in real life someday!
Comment: I have never received an amigurumi. I LOVE IT! It's so cute and I love cupcakes so much. Thank you so so so so much. And the little bear is really sweet too :) Lily never puts things in her mouth or anything, so it was perfect and she loves little things like that! She has a collection of tiny animals like that (a set of dogs, a giraffe, and a cat) so it's perfect. When she saw me open the package she wanted that bear right away! Thank you so so much!
Response: I was pretty sure that bear would be a hit! I'm glad to hear I was right. Now you'll just have to start making/collecting amigurumis. They are so much fun!
Comment: oh my goodness you sooooooo outdid yourself with this package, i was lucky to have you as a partner, thank you soooooooo very much, i loved it completely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Response: I'm really happy that you liked the Valentines Box. I bought too much stuff to fit in the box, so I tried to send you only the best of the lot. (:
Comment: thank you for the very amazing box of goodies... They came on a rough day, and indeed did make me smile, you are amazing. if i could give you more hearts I would like 1000000000000000000000000 :)
Response: If I could send more than items, I would. I am sending healing thoughts your way!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely handmade wallet and fabric postcard, plus letter. I was having a 'ho-hum' day - and then your package arrived! It brought tears to my eyes. You really made your gifts personal. You're a star.
Response: it was fun learning how to make a fabric postcard; I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the GREAT bookmarks. I adore the handmade one and the kit is great. All of them are perfect. Thanks for such a great swap. Hugs & Hearts, Mona
Response: My oldest is asking for an earth and fire one now. If I do figure out how to do that, I'll have to send one to you. Our youngest came up to me yesterday with the cutest little fairy frog sticker and it made me think of you.
Comment: I hope you can hear me screaming with delight! I love the wonderful nautical purse you sewed for me. The chapstick holder is also awesome. Thanks a million for the wonderful surprise.
Response: You are incredibly welcome. It is hard to make something like that because purses are so personal, so I was nervous about whether you would like it or not. I could only find one fabric with ligthhouses, so that was an easy choice!
Comment: Your stamps came in the mail today - they are so cool! I love the fabric ones, what a great idea :)
Response: Thanks! They were fun to make. When you are ready to peel the paper off, instead of picking at a corner like you would do with a sticker, pull gently against the bias to stretch the fabric in the middle. That should tear a little spot in the middle edge and you can easily peel from there instead of causing fraying by picking the corners. If you have any trouble figuring out how to iron them on, feel free to send me a PM.
Comment: Thank you so much for the extra recipes! I can't wait to try them all. You made my first swap a GREAT experience!!
Response: They are my most favorites. If you get a chance to try them, I'd love to know what you think! Thanks for the heart--I was nervous about my handwriting; even though I tried to write neatly, it seems like I just don't have an artist's hand!
Comment: Thanks so much for the tea and letter. I actually love the Tea Wallet you sent with me, and it's most definitely NOT too girlie! lol Thank you very much. Happy swapping!
PS There's not enough hearts on here...if I could give you more for also sending the candies, you'd have them!!! Thanks again. I'll let you know how I like them, as I've never tried them before. :)
Response: Thanks for the super positive feedback! I hope you like the tamarind candy--it is kind of 'outside the box' for most American palates, but that sour/spicy combo is really popular for Mexican sweets. (At least the ones I've tried.)
Comment: Oh my this was the best swap package i have yet received i love the teas and the oh so adorable tea carry pouch and not to mention the note it was just amazing. Thank you so so so much. I wish i could give you more than one heart. I will be sending you a message soon too
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I had a lot of fun reading your profile and putting everything together for you. I'm looking forward to your message.
