Response: I'm so happy you liked the painting. It was a labor of love. The deer is from a book of pop-up gift cards. (One of my newer craft interests.) A swivel knife is my main tool for these. Glad you like it.

Response: Thanks for the rating. The clerk at the post office assumed there was cardstock between the layers. He said fabric cards without cardstock in between is too flimsy and needs 62 cents postage. I didn't try to explain about using "Stiffy" on the backing.

Response: It's gratifying to hear the ATCs made your day. I printed the text on something that's kind of like a laminating sheet. I had to put another non-printed piece on top to it didn't get too messed up to read. I'm trying out some el-cheapo transparency techniques with my inkjet printer (with materials I have on hand). You were my first recipient.

Response: I sewed a piece of page protector over the front of the card because I was afraid the beads might come off in transit. You could probably cut the plastic away with a craft knife or completely remove the stitching. The other layer were glued together.

Perhaps some photo glue would keep it together for the journey? =) -Added... Wow, thankyou! You didn't have to send another ATC, that's so extremely kind of you!!
Response: I'm so sorry the ATC didn't arrive the way it was sent out. I used an adhesive that's new to me because of the vellum. I'll take more care in the future.

Response: I am so pleased you like the troll. It was a little challenging for my skill level. I try to make something mentioned in my swap partner's profile if it's within my capability. I was afraid it woudn't meet swap requirements because it's not frou-frou, but it IS sewn and I didn't use paper or glue! Thanks for being my inspiration for this swap. It was fun.
