Comment: Thank you for sharing the things you found in this scavenger hunt, Donatella! I too used something cooking for the "smelly" task. Also, your Winnie-the-Pooh is adorable! :-) It was great fun reading about and then seeing the things you found! :-)
Comment: This was an intriguing challenge! Are more of these going to be in the challenges group? I was able to go to an Afghan restaurant near me and to rent an Afghan film so I broke out of my daily rut :0)
Response: Wow! An afghan restaurant! Lucky you! Yes there will be other challenges. In the group I recently closed the second trip: Bahamas!
Comment: So sorry for the late rating! I started Storm Front years ago, but got distracted and never finished it. I've always meant to. From your review, it sounds like I really should. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: I also love Christmas movies. I record all I can and I will be watching the for the next couple of months. I've seen the one about Annie Clause but I had never heard of the other two. I will have to look for them. I wonder if they are on demand. Hmmm.
Thank you so much for sharing with me.
Comment: Wise words. Even without your translation I understood the meaning of your words.
In dutch we also use the word basta. It means something like: these are my final words for this subject, I no longer discuss this with you. I don't know a shirter explanation in english.
It was a wise advice from your friend and I'm glad you listened to him.
Response: It's awesome that Basta is also a dutch word!
Comment: Hi there! Thank you for commenting on my profile. I read your profile, too, and wow, it is impressive. I have never met anyone from Italy before, I'm sure you could teach me a lot. I can never learn enough about other people, places and culture. Your non-profit sounds amazing. Sharing books has to be one of the best jobs. I have always wanted to found my own, and perhaps one day, I will. For now, I volunteer, and learn as much as I can. Let me know if you would like to exchange a private swap sometime, it was a pleasure to meet you!
Response: Nice to meet you too! I love electronic swaps and mail art. I cut down other kind of swaps because in Italy postal service is very expensive, slow and messy.
Comment: Thanks for rating and I'm sorry I'm just now rating. I don't know what I'd do without our library. We borrow books a lot. My boys love to read. Thanks for the nice comment about my family and cats.
Comment: Hi Donatella, thanks for visiting my blog. I just started and i think i am almost afraid to get going...you helped me to overcome that ...thanks much! i shall post more pics as we adventure in my country. Ciao...lisa
Comment: Thanks for your great Pinterest Board. It was a neat way to interpret this swap. And loved all your ideas. I will have to figure out some way to copy them. And thanks also for hosting this swap. It was fun doing it. Best Wishes, Cynaemon
Comment: I have always been curious about that book, after reading your review I'm definitely going to read it! Thank you for sharing your thoughts of it with me. Btw I love your mini challenges group & swaps-fantastic idea, if you ever want more officers Id love to help. :)
Response: Thank you! I'm glad that you will read this book!
Comment: I wish I could give more than 1 heart! Thank youso much for your present and mostly for all the effort you took to send it to me.
To all hosts: this user goes above and beyond to furfill a swap.♡♥♡♥
Response: Thank you very much my dear! You are so kind!
Comment: You must start believing you are an artist!!! Your envelope had MANY artistic embelishments - three lines of triangles - drawing them upside down and right side up is NOT easy!!! I loved how you wrote Italian in between the lines. Of course I couldn't read it but I liked it! I liked the combination of pink and gray on the front with the little pink hearts. Thanks for the pretty poetry and letter. My sister is a poet that has taken national prizes. I love getting mail from her because she incorporates things from our family that only we would know. I love the stamps on the envie as well. They all came un-cancelled!
Response: Yeah, I think I could translate the italian words, I totally forgot it! However I am really happy about the fact that you liked my work, thank you very much!
Comment: Ciao e grazie for your letter and envelope! Your art was very cute. It's like a portrait of an avatar of me. (Very 'meta'!) I lived in Roma for a year and it always warms my heart to get mail from Italy. Your stamps were never cancelled so I will PIF to a stamp collector.
Comment: 12 hrs is very well done for a first readathon!!! AND you did better than me ;D You're right that reading should be fun, that's why I never make the full 24 hrs. I find it especially hard during the night, when Mr Gnoe has gone to bed and the world seems so empty... That's why it's awesome that you got to do this with your sister!!!
Response: Yes, with a sister is more funny! thank you for the rating
Comment: Thank you for your swap. I'm glad you enjoyed your reads. I loved Divergent, but I'm one of the ones who didn't like the 3rd book so I refuse to watch the movie. Maybe when it's on TV down the road. :)
Response: I havent't read the third book yet, so now I'm quite worried about it!
Comment: Aww. All three books you read this month are ones I have read!!! That's so cool. And, Aw, silly old bear :-) I read the Winnie-the-Pooh stories over and over and over again as a kid. My favorite was Eeyore's birthday. Everyone should read that book! I loved Divergent and read the second book in the series in September, coincidentally. Still haven't seen the movie though! And I'm glad you liked the Agatha Christie book too; I love her mysteries and this really was such a good one; I didn't see the twists coming!
Response: So you are a great reader! Thank you for your nice comment anf for your rating. Happy reading.
Comment: Grazie, Donatella! Very fun ideas, I haven't had any TicTacs in years and never in any special flavours. Iced tea is also a very good idea for this weather we have here now. I already tied the wrist band to my wrist, it's beautifully made. The pink pencil will come in handy with crossword puzzles. I hope you have a great time in June!
Response: Oh, thank you very much! I'm very glad that you liked the things I chose for you! Happy swapping and happy June!
Comment: The pin I made for this swap was made from toilet paper rolls, too! What kind of paint did you use for this? I love the colors and texture. And my favorite is that adorable purple owl--look at his cute expression! Awww!
Response: In Italy we call it "colore a tempera" from Giotto brand. I can't translate it for you because translator says me "paint". Sorry!!! Thank you for your appreciaton!
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely envelope & surprises! I loved the Union Jack & London Scape you drew so fabulous! I'll enjoy the tea & use the postcard as a journal card in my Midori Travelers Notebook ^__^
Response: I'm really glad that you liked my drawing and used the surprises!
Comment: Lots of very cool ideas....you may have to wait for my list as I think I'm pinching a few of your ideas!!!! I love the links to websites so we can have a go too. Was planning a Friday evening film viewing with my neighbour and her children - may make those sparkling sequins decorations!! Fantastic! thank you
Response: Thank you! I'm very happy that you liked it!

Comment: Thank you Doantella for the nice comment! So, have you been many times in Germany? Unfortunatly i don´t know the poem No man is an island, but i will google it :-)
Response: You must read it!!! It is written by John Donne, let me know if you liked it! Yes I visited Germany many times! Dusseldorf, Berlin, Munich... My grandmother comes from Hilden ( a town in Dusseldorf). :-)
Comment: Thank you for the comment... I have been looking for an image of a single bougainvillea flower for a long time so that I can use it as a drawing reference for a logo..! the one you posted was perfect! thanks again and hope to bump into you for more swaps!
Comment: The 2nd pic of the spices would make a great postcard! I'm curious about the jar that has "sigil" across the top - what's in that one?
Response: Thank you! If you would to make a postcard with it you can :-) As for the jar ... My mother bought it year ago, I think. It is called "Couscous" and it is a mixture of spices like garlic, salt, onion, pepper, parsley and coriander.
Comment: Napoli? Wonderful! I have been there couple years back with my mountain claimbing crew. We were claimbing on Vesuv and then went to Sicily and Stromboli. Napoli is really one busy, busy town! :) Still, I liked it. You're lucky to live there. :) Thanks for lovely comment and good wishes :)
Response: Climbing on Vesuvio? Wonderful! I love living in Naples but some people think I am not lucky :-) So thank you !
Comment: Thank you so much for the comment ♥ I'm studying in Budapest, so I visit the city nearly every day - but I live not there, 14kms far - so I can help you in nearly everything :)
Just write me :)
Response: I'll do it, if I'll go to Budapest! Thank you!
