Comment: Thank you for my holiday card and pretty stamps.Happy New Year! I have friends in Ekaterinburg and Tyumenn. I have many Russian postcards and Tolstoy on my wall. My Russian language skills have weakened.
Comment: Thank you sooo soo much for the package! :) Due to a very silly EU regulations I needed to pay for the package, but that was totally worth for it!!! <3 Thank you! I can't wait to try all of them!
Response: I'm very glad it was worth it! Enjoy! :D
Comment: This snail mail coming from Russia, I'm quite surprised it arrived here in the US quickly! Thank you so much for the local stationery goodies! Are you a Mrs. Grossman sticker subscriber? Very cool if Mrs. Grossman stickers are well known in Russia. If you're interested, I have tons of Mrs. Grossman, would love to trade for some cool Russian stationeries :)
Comment: My Christmas card came! Our mail has been really messed up, but I think at 3 months late your card takes the award for longest travel time. :) I love the happy little snowman card and the bird stickers are beautiful. Thank you so much!!
Response: Wow, I'm so glad it's finally there! Thank you for being patient with it :)
Comment: Hurra :) Your lovely swap arrived, thank you so much for resending it!!! The stickers are fun, I especially like polar bears!!! Thank you Katya, stay healthy and safe and now: have a fantastic week :)
Comment: Thank you for the card and your note. I also love the space station stamp that you used. I have been interested in anything space related since the first Sputnik was launched when I was a kid. Stay safe and well.
Comment: Ciao ^^ thank you for your nice envelope with the wolf stamp. I like what you have chosen for me, both the postcard and the stickers. I tried to translate the postcard but I couldn't help you?
Response: Thank you! I'm glad you got it safely :) I can translate, sure, but can you remind me which postcard it was?
Comment: Спасибо for the beautiful postcard! 😃 This was my first piece of mail from Russia and with such a sweet postage stamp! 🐱 I was very happy to see you were my partner for this swap and I'll message you about our private swap soon. Enjoy your time away! 🌊💙
Comment: Hi Katya, I didn't know you were also in this group on Swapbot :D Thanks for joining my swap and thank you for the lovely card. Such great stickers on the back as well! I'm glad to hear that the full slam arrived safe and sound. Hopefully next time in person ;)
Comment: I read about the mail delay on your profile so I kept waiting patiently and I was rewarded with an awesome card in the mail today! Totally my style and interesting stamps! With the majority of the users based in the US, I also get super excited whenever I get paired with someone not in the US! :)
Response: I'm so glad it finally arrived! Thank you for your patience. I'm happy you liked the card. :)
Comment: Your envelope finally arrived yesterday!!! Thank you for the extras & also for sending some that Cindy hasn't already signed, this means I can finally reply back to her! I will send you a return swap once I find some more sticker slams! I hope you are keeping well!
Response: Woohoo so glad they got to you safely! Swap back when you can ❤
Comment: Thank you very much for your package. I just got it in my mailbox, and it made my day so much better. I can`t wait to try out the sunflower bar with my husband in the evening. We do have something similar here in Austria, but I am still excited how it will taste.
Thank you again! Have an amazing day and lots of love, Julia :)
Response: I'm so glad it arrived safely! I hope you like it ^_^
Comment: Thanks for sharing your list! I couldn't help but laugh at the Tetris soundtrack, love it! It's my childhood! :) Have heard a lot of Russian songs before, but these were new to me. Thanks again.
Comment: What a wonderful envie you sent me @kafekafe!!! I ADORE the postcards you sent me... Not only the ones for the swap but as well the beautiful one you used to write the swap's details and the extra with Matryoshkas!!! I wish my mom was here as would have enjoyed this gift very much!!! I got my love for them from her ♥♥... Lucky you with such a nice heritage!! THANK YOU!!!!
Comment: Thank you! I love your FBs. I have the same problem with sending 3 FBs. It's always over 20g, which is the weight limit here too. I'm planning to make a bunch of new FBs soon so I'll let you know when I have some to swap. Thanks again!
Comment: Thanks for a beautiful card based on the true meaning of Christmas! All the rest is lots of fun, but I try to keep the deeper meaning in mind through the Advent season. Thanks for joining the swap!
Comment: Thank you for the adorable vintage-style Christmas card that reminds me of childhood Christmas pageants -- I remember memorizing my lines as the angel hours before I had to perform them in middle school! ^_^;; I love your neat handwriting and appreciate the beautiful stamps, especially the embossed face with scrollwork -- is it depicting a decoration from a palace or museum? Congratulations on finishing The Fountainhead -- the last lengthy novel I read was The Goldfinch, but the plot of Fountainhead is enticing :) Hope you are enjoying this autumn! ♥
Response: Thank you for a great comment ♥ The Goldfinch is actually in my to-read list, hopefully I'll get to it soon! Those embossed stamps depict the Amber Room from the Hermitage in St Petersburg (Russia). It's a national treasure, a whole room made of amber. I saw it a few years back and it was even more breathtaking than I could ever imagine. Take care and have a nice day!
Comment: I love the card that you chose for me...I love getting foreign language greetings!!! And all the different stamps and all of them equally cool!!! Thanks so very much and Merry Christmas to you!!
Comment: Wow! I wish I could give you more than a 5 and more than 1 heart. I love the stickers you have sent me!! Everything is wonderful! LOVE the penguins!!! Love the Diddl paper too!! THANK YOU!!! <3
Comment: Your Christmas postcard finally got here today and I love it :) It's super cute, thank you so much! Also, the stamps are stunning! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that 2016 is treating you well! I hope its filled with good health and happiness!
Comment: Today I got your slams (the resend). Thank you very much. It is a pity that so many slams lost and I wonder what miyuiki00 will do with the slams I've send to her.
(The heart is for all the extra work you had to do)
Response: I'm glad it's arrived safe this time. Thank you for the heart my dear!
Comment: Love my package thank you! Just got in from work fancying a snack and I'm loving the rye bread snacks and little sausages!!! I got a shock though when I put some mustard on the cracker and put it in my mouth - it looks like French or German mustard but actually it's REALLY sharp like English mustard!!! You would have laughed! Really looking forward to trying the interesting risotto rice too! thank you :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your favorite songs Katya!! You can never go wrong with anything from Michael Buble. He's amazing! :-) Thank you for including the Russian New Year/Christmas songs too! I can't wait to listen to them. :-) Merry Christmas!
Comment: Aw, thank you for the exteas, matryoshka doll magnet! the notecard, the neat photo - is that you? Says from London and has Korean writing! And the note, cool silver on black. The envie has nice atampa, I especially like the bunny! And the wasp looks pretty. You must have a good collection of rubber stamps, thanks for putting effort in decorating the envie :)
Response: Glad you liked it, thanks for the heart! The minicard is Korean-made, they make the prettiest things.
Comment: Thanks for such an interesting letter and neat envie! Your English is very good indeed. My handwriting is awful even in English, I hate to think how it would be in another language. Luckily we don't use cursive much here anymore. It used to be the norm but is mostly a thing of the past. Thanks again!
Response: Thank you for the heart, I'm glad you liked it! :)
Comment: Katya, looooved all your stickers. Thank you so much. Wish I could give you 5 hearts. My family was originally from a small town outside Smolensk although I was born in the USA. Is English taught as an optional language or as a second language? Your english is impressive. Thankys again.
Response: Thank you so much for the comment, I'm very glad you liked what I sent! СпаÑибо! English is taught as a second language in most schools here, thanks for the compliment, it means a lot to me. :) Do you know any Russian?
Comment: This is one of my most favourite postcards I'd ever received. A lot of my friends have trouble mailing stuff to Russia, so I was super glad to hear mine made it alright. Thank you so much! ♥
Response: How nice it is that we both received our postcard in one day! :)
Comment: Katya, I LOVED your card! I'm of Ukrainian descent, and am able to read cyrallic alphabet. "Ded Moroz" reminds me of St. Nicholas, on what I was raised. Have a blessed Christmas! Do you celebrate in JAN13? I hope to. Thank you so much!
Response: I'm so glad you liked it and it brought back memories! We mostly celebrate New Year in Russia, then Christmas is on Jan. 7 (I'm not religious though), and then on Jan. 13 is the old-style New Year, which is not a real holiday, we usually celebrate with a nice dinner. :) Happy holidays!!!
Comment: It's HERE!! Perfect timing too-- it arrived on my birthday! Wow. Best gift ever. Can I just give you a hundred hearts?? I'm overwhelmed by everything and don't know what to do with myself. haha. Can't even choose favorites because I love everything you sent. This will last all month, or even longer :D Thank you so much for all the time and care you put into this and for being so generous <3
Response: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Let's say I liberately timed it so. :) I'm super relieved that it's arrived to you, and I'm eternally happy about you loving everything! It was a great swap we did. I've just finished the second pack of Chamorro cookies btw (save best for the last).
Comment: Hi, Katya, I received your package today! Wow! Thank you so much! You sent an amazing assortment of gifts. I was so surprised at how heavy the box was. I love the matryoshka - it's so beautiful! And the Vinni Pukh puzzle and book, they're the first I've ever received. Everything was just so wonderful and thoughtful, thank you again for swapping with me. Maybe we can swap again sometime in the future :-) Oh, I did have a question, what is the little circular wooden box? I wasn't quite sure what it was.
Response: Hooray!!! What a relief; and I'm glad you like everything. The little circular box is just a souvenir, you can store beads in it or dry odorous herbs, for example.
Comment: Lovely postcard, and i enjoyed reading some of the details from your visit. i'm not religious either, but i love architecture, and the monastery looks beautiful! i even love the postage stamps. Thanks for a great pc! :)
Response: Thank you, I'm so glad you liked the postcard :D
Comment: Yay! I finally got my last cut up grocery PC! I knew it would take a while to get from Russia to Canada, so I wasn't worried, but just eager to see it. I love that the picture on the pancake box is so different from what it would be here. And thanks for the little note on the PC too ... it's a nice way to get to know each other a little bit! (My pancakes turn out better from a mix too!)
Response: Hooray! Overseas mail seems to have had a serious choke in the winter, but I'm glad that postcards get delievered after all. I'm going to make pancakes for breakfast a bit later. :) Have a good day!
Comment: Not sure when this was sent but just got today!! Lovely cards. My grandson loved all the Russian stamps!
Response: I notice that quite a few of my Christmas cards are only arriving to the USA now. There must have been some sort of glipse, I don't know. But I'm glad at least they're not lost!!! :) I'm glad you liked the card and stamps! :) Have a nice weekend~
Comment: I just got your Christmas card ... on Valentine's Day! It brought a smile to my face. I love the picture of Santa on his horse-drawn sleigh. Thanks for writing the note. I hope you had a great holiday with your sister and parents.
Response: Wow, it definitely took its time... But I'm happy that it reached you in the end, even if in time for Valentine's Day. Sometimes snail mail is really snail. :) Thank you for the heart!
Comment: I received this very nice envelop on Feb 10, not realizing it's a Christmas card all the way from Russia. It travelled for more than 2 months and finally gets here safe and sound. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you so much.
Response: It's about time!!! I thought they were lost. :( I'm so happy that they arrived in the end. Merry Valentine's Day :D
Comment: Thanks for a most intriguing package of tea -- I am going to try one as soon as I finish rating. And the stamps on your envelope are really neat! I was all definitely worth waiting for! Happy swapping!
Response: I'm sooo glad it got to you! I'm always worried about item swaps. Thank you for the heart, enjoy the tea!
Comment: Very nice card. I thought the box with the Cyrillic script was very interesting and I enjoyed reading what you wrote, and the way you decorated the reverse and used lovely postage stamps...and the mini sweet bar was great..I shall put it in my dollhouse. I would give you 2 hearts if I could

Comment: Heyyy I've got yours today!! Thanks for your effort to send all these coins! So many! XD And I liked the postcard as well. It is such a beautiful building. :) Thanks for doing pv swap with me, have a nice day~~ ^^
Comment: Katya, thank you for the cool card! What an amazing view. Thank you, too, for the 'I love you' translation. It's funny that you put the sound/phonetic transcription. I studied Speech pathology and phonetics in college, and transcribed ALL THE TIME! :) (And enjoyed it). It's interesting to see some symbols from a language other than English. So I really liked that! Anyway, thank you again for the great card!
Response: You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it! :D I'm a linguist wannabe, so I enjoy a little phonetic transcription here and there.
Comment: Katya - Thank you so much for the card of St. Petersburg. It's beautiful! I love everything about it - the stickers, the stamps, too! It is amazing that we have been paired up again! It's a pleasure! Thanks again :)
Response: I'm so happy you liked it!! Thank you for the rating <3
