Comment: This is so cute!! I love the candy bar card! I would love it more if my neighbors dog had not knocked down my mailbox and eaten it. But what I found of it was so cute!! Thank you for the sweet, thoughtful swap!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the adorable card and cute as can be pin! I love it!
BTW - I had a cat who we found on Kimball Avenue here in Chicago, we named her Kimballine and for short we called her KimmieKat!
Comment: Precious squirrel card! I LOVE it! If I could give you a million hearts, I would! I adore the toadstool pin you made! I have read "After Dark" by Haruki Murikami, and am hoping to read more of his books. :) Have a great Valentine's Day and I hope we can do some Swaps together in the future.
Response: Wow that got to you quick! Very glad to hear you liked the card and the pin.I'm having so much fun making those. Sounds like we have some similar tastes, it'd be great to do a future swap.
Comment: OMG KIM!!! One of my absolute favorites!! I gave you a heart because you used a technique noone else has sent me and it is one I am dying to learn!! Very simple card but just soooo elegant! One of my big sayings in life and art is "sometimes less is more" and this card put that to meaning! Thank you sunshine!!!
Response: So glad you like it. I'm always worried that people will think my cards are too easy to make, but I love creating and manipulating images.
Comment: This is by far the best thing I have ever received from Swap Bot. I had no idea you were assigned me, and I was thrilled to death to see your name. Your ATC is beautiful it puts mine to shame but you have always been so creative, and I have always taken so much pride in your work.
Love, Mommy PS the card is really cute too, I think I would like to go to that museum one day!
Response: aww thanks, Im glad you didn't know I was hoping it would be a surprise. I really liked that swap it was one of my favorites for sure, and you're the one who pointed it out to me so I was even more thrilled to get you! I love you too! When you come to Vermont I'll take you there and buy you a maple creemee!
Comment: What a [email protected]#KING cute monster!
Great job with the stamp. What did you carve? You got really clean lines.
Response: Thanks, I used the cheapy speedball speedstamp stuff to carve it into. I've heard this isnt the best material to use, but I can't find any other stamp carving blocks in my local stores, and it seems to work for me.
Comment: Thanks so much for such a beauty! I love the book you sent, with all the various techniques you used. It is really special, I would love to know more about some of your photo altering techniques. Thanks again for such a lovely Artist's Journal! Rachel M.
Response: Glad you like it, i do a lot of printing on plastic sheets and then altering the wet ink before I transfer it.Sometimes I wipe off all but one element of an image to combine it with another, sort of a primitive photoshop
Comment: I love the matchbox! Thank you! It is so pretty! :)
And I really appreciate the tea-themed stickers as well! They are awesome! :)
The recipe is something completely new to me that I am planning to try out! And it seems to be quite easy too! :)
