Comment: WOW! Love the NH & ME map cards that you sent...so sweet of you to include a BONUS! Love the lyrics to your state song, too... think that's the first PC I have with state song lyrics... with any song lyrics for that matter! LOL Thanks so much... happy holidays!
Comment: Hi there! First off, let me say I'm sorry for the terrible delay in your rating. I didn't have internet everyday this summer so I had a backlog of ratings. I just wanted to let you know that I didn't forget about rating you :D Thanks again for being a great swap partner. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I'm sorry again for being so late! Better late than never?
Comment: Sorry this rating is coming so late. I didn't have internet everyday so I've had a hard time rating regularly. Just wanted to let you know that I loved your cards and I thank you very much for being a good swap partner. Hope all is well and that you have a great Thanksgiving!
Comment: Thank you so much for making sure I got my card(s). I do feel bad that you had to go to so much trouble. Happy Swapping!
Response: I just looked into this swap. I have mailed a postcard to you twice. There were 10 partners on this swap. All of my other partners have received their postcards without a problem and have rated me. Please give me your address again and I will resend it. I know it is disappointing to not receive a swap, but this is not intentional.
I am so happy you have now received them!!
Comment: I love this card! And I have a lot of PC's of lighthouses on the Oregon coast, but this is my first one from NH. Thanks. And don't worry too much about the gall bladder surgery. I had mine removed over 30 years ago, and have had no complications once I healed from the actual surgery. The hardest part has been learning to spell "cholecystectomy" -- the medical term for that surgery! I will say a prayer for you, and for your surgeon. Happy swapping!
Comment: See? This is a very nice handmade postcard. You have color, texture, a perfect image, a nice quote. Very well done! The chocolates look so good I actually sniffed the card. So what if you put the address lines on the wrong side? LOL. I just would have thought you were very eclectic European or something. :) Thank you! I loved your comment from your Grandpa about people in WI. Where was he from?
Comment: Thank you Lisa for the most beautiful lighthouse postcards - I very much appreciate your offering to have this private swap. These are ALL new postcards in my collection (and I have over 100 lighthouses) and I'm hoping one day to see them in person. I hope the cards I sent will please you just as much. Thanx & warm wishes!
Comment: I do love the card that you sent...thanks so much! Great memories from our visits there and one of the many places we've been to in our travels that we hope to return to one day!
Thanks for the memories (and you special card)!
Comment: Marie is actually my middle name too but I go by it. My real first name is...Lisa! Haha. So we are both Lisa Maries. But I dont like being called Lisa. Never has quite felt right...anyway. Thanks for the great postcard. Its really pretty even though I am NOT ready for fall yet, because up her in MN that means WINTER is soon. Ick. Haha. Have a great day!
Comment: Lisa, Thanks so much for the card you sent me. I totaly love moosies! I love the card, I haven't seen one like that around here, and I live in ME! I like your list too, glad about your daughter too!
Comment: Hi Lisa:
Thanks for the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse card. It's the first lighthouse card I think I've gotten. I love that sunset scene. Thanks too for your note and the compliment on my name. I've been pretty happy with it...although my sisters were "Francine" & "Charlene" and I felt like the odd duck with out an ....ene type of name. All the best. Julie
Comment: Another great card. I like this size of mapcard, I'll fit in my 'atlas' nicely, and I'm not too picky on the 'greetings from' on a map card. If it has a map I consider it a map card. Cool we've had lots of swaps lately.
Comment: Very nice card. As for flickr, I like it, but it's been a lot of work to scan my cards, I've got about 300 cards to scan yet, but I like having a record of them. Then I'll have to organize them. It will be nice when complete.
Response: Oh I know! Work! I started it and thought wow...this is a time consuming idea! It would be nice to have them organized in some way though.
Comment: I'll be honest, I'm not sure all of these "technically" count as non-tourist postcards (especially the one from the National Park), but you read my profile and tried to send me things I like... really nice postcards so I am rating a five anyway :) Thank you.
Comment: That's one "whale" of a card, Lisa! Thanks very much--it and the ones for our private swap arrived today. I notice you sent a couple of extras on the private swap--I'll have to try to remember to keep my eye out for a couple more for you. -- Carol
Response: I am happy you enjoyed them! I received yours today as well...thank you very much!
Comment: VERY CUTE POSTCARD! I LOVE IT! I actually love buying the Puffins Cereal from Trader Joe's! ha~ha! In peanut butter flavor of course! It has a picture of a Puffin on the front! ha~ha! LOVE IT THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Comment: I love those lupines too, they are so beautiful swaying in the wind next to the ocean. Wonderful weather? where?!lol lets hope it gets better soon, I need the sunshine! Thanks for the card, Linda (trees911)
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the card! I live on the Maine/NH seacoast line in Kittery and up until this week we have had some absolutely beautiful days! (sorry) hee hee Alot of rain this week...it will get better!
Comment: its so funny about the postcard you sent. i showed it to my mom and she asked if that wedding cake house was in maine and i couldn't believe that it was. its because alot of houses are fancy like that here it seems. =)
Comment: Thanks for the GREAT ME State Capitol card and the extra lighthouse cards! I had one of the lighthouses, but that's okay as I will use it for trading. Plan to send you a few cards as a thank you--plus I still want to send you a list of a few ME lighthouses that I don't have cards for. You guys have something like 60 I read!
Comment: Thanks so much, Lisa!! Another pretty pc for my collection.
Response: You are welcome! I am glad you liked it...I thought it was so pretty...I found that card at an old country store in Barrington, NH called Calefs. And it really is an old country store...penny candy...deli with the round cheese...homemade breads...a neat place.
Comment: Thanks for the NH lighthouse card, Lisa. I never was able to join the private swap, but if you don't want to mess with re-doing it or trying to change the password, just send the cards -- I'm a loyal swapper of over a year here and I'd make sure you were happy with what you got back from me and that it turned out fair and equitable! -- Carol in Denver
Response: Glad you liked it...ok sounds good...I will have to bring it into the post office...so it probably wont be until Sat or Monday...with the holidays here...no rush...take your time...hope you find some that you want to keep. Talk to you soon!
Comment: You are so sweet, thank you so much for the black and white pc and thank you for taking the time to read my profile! I wonder why it's so hard to find B &W's? I will treasure my Marx Brother's PC, thanks again so very much!!!
Response: You are welcome...I am not sure why it is difficult to find them? Seems so odd to me? I am glad you enjoyed the card...and (of course, you are my Hot chocolate reminder) ;-)
Comment: I love the card, thanks. I do have NH, not sure if I have ME or not, but I do not mind getting duplicates. I like map pc's of any kind really. the NH I have is different from the one you sent.
Response: Glad you like it...I think santa should be there again very soon ;-)
Comment: Beautiful. That would be an incredible sight. Wish I could see it. Thank you for the beautiful pc. Take care :)
Response: You are very welcome...one of the things I enjoy about swapbot is being able to see pictures and hear stories or facts about where others are that we may never get the opportunity to visit...but it is nice to share.
Comment: I love all the cards. Thank you. I Love them all because you wrote a story about each one. That made them extra special. I do not usually do blank postcard swaps but if I had partners like you every time I would sign up more often. Also thank you for the puzzle. My husband loves Sudoku also.
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the cards! I have to agree sometimes getting an envelope with cards is difficult to relate to...part of the fun is reading about the person or area and being able to relate in some way. Glad he enjoyed the puzzle! I could not believe I could not find the crossword in the NYT!
Comment: Hello Lisa- Thanks so much for the great map card of Maine!! This state map is hard for me to get, and yours is especially nice! I am thrilled to get it! I hope it isn't too cold up there in Maine. Best wishes to you, Debbie Christian
Response: I am glad you enjoyed the card! Well it isnt to cold yet...it wont be long though and it will be below freezing during the days.
Comment: Thank you so much for sending me two postcards. You didn't mention in the note which swap(s) the cards were for, but I know the University of NH one is for this swap. The Portsmouth tug boat PC is great. Was it an extra, or for another swap? I just want to be sure I rate you for all the you deserve. Thanks!! :)
Response: It can get so confusing keeping track of these and I apologize for not writing which swap! Yes it was for the University swap...earlier I sent you a tubboat postcard (I believe you hosted the swap). I found this postcard after and thought of you when post card shopping and picked it up. It is just an extra for your tugboat collection. Glad you enjoyed the cards!
Comment: What a beautiful card! I have no lighthouse cards and this one with so many different ones is special. Thank you so much. I like all cards.
Response: I love lighthouses...right now I am concentrating on collecting all of the state map cards...but I believe that soon there after will be lighthouses and state capital cards. Happy you enjoyed it!
Comment: Thank you for taking the time to read my profile...you are so lucky to be so close to so much! We live on the coast as well but everything else is more than an hour away... have to drive far to see the good signs besides the coastal stuff...
Response: I enjoyed reading it...you are welcome...I just love living in this area we are very fortunate!
Comment: Thanks for the Maine map card-it's one I've got, but that's okay. We can definately private swap--I will IM you!
Response: Sorry it is one you already have...sigh...I have the Maine State capital and picked up a NH State card yesterday that I hadnt seen yet...it has the state...state bird...animal and flower with the old man on the mountain in the background. Talk to you soon!
Comment: Thanks so much for the wonderful Maine map card, and for all the nice things you said about me and my profile.
Response: You are very welcome...you have a nice profile and sound like a wonderful person ;-) Glad you enjoyed the card....if you need the NH card send me a message and I will get that one out to you as well.
