Comment: Thank you sooo much for the great stuff you sent to me. It arrived at last today yeah!!
It was quite funny though as I've just finished a book called " the Bastard Istanbul" by Elif Shafak and it explains a mother buying souvenirs to the family in Turkey and explain cactus this and cactus on the gifts that and then your fab swap turned up. I was like cool I own this now :) So thank you
Comment: Thank you for a great swap! I loved hearing about your life and family and I really appreciate the homemade chilli powder- It smells soooo good, I can't wait to try it!! I also loved the handmade card- that was a nice touch. Have a wonderful summer! That was interesting to hear about your mother-in-law being a Buddhist nun.
Comment: Yes, yes, yes. I love homemade postcards. Yours was delightful. I'm glad your Brownie troop enjoyed the project. I tried to join Brownies but the troop leader said I was "too rambunctious ". Can you believe that?
Response: Oh good I am so glad that you like the card : ) I am so sorry that you weren't allowed to be a Brownie! What a terrible excuse!
Comment: I REALLY love the Mrs Grossmans stickers on the little tear off sheets like the ones you sent because they are harder to find now I think and when you do find them, I think its extra fun buying them when they are on a roll like that lol anyways so I was super happy about those and am excited to try out these flextangle things! The envelope was so pretty! This whole swap made me smile(:
Response: I am so glad that you liked the stickers and that it all made you smile! Thank you so much for the kind rating : )
Comment: Loved everything about this swap...confetti pocket with "D" and stamp, confetti bookmark, zebra greeting card, handmade bookmark, cut-outs, and pens from your biz! (P.s. My son lives in Cave Creek). Thank you so much for re-sending and for putting so much thought into it.
Comment: Thank you- I shall shall be sure to fill the pages full of thankfulness. Starting with... thanks for using stamps...thanks for including a note...thanks for the pocket o'embellishments..thanks for reading my profile. (And I do so admire small handwriting; mine is barely legible large.)
Comment: Well.....I could not wait so I took a little look. Thank you for my gifts. I just adore the washi tape and the chocolate looks so yummy. I will probably try it very soon. It is so my type of chocolate. Thank you for picking such perfect items! Hugs, Mona

Comment: Thanks for the beautiful card. You really did a great job! After all, I found out the challenge wasn't so easy! Thanks for the extra. The photo taken by your hubby was cool too. My hubby loves to photograph insects too. And I love the photo's!
Response: You are very welcome I really glad that you liked the card. It was really fun to make : ) That is awesome, insects look so neat up close : )
Comment: Thanks Maranda for the Halloween Ornament. I liked that you used the black recycled netting from produce (?) and think exploring that with more spiders could be fun, too!
Response: Yes I have been wanting to use produce netting in a craft project for a long time. I like how this turned out but spiders would have been great! I will do that with some other stuff. I am glad you got it so quickly : )
Comment: Sorry for the late rate! I grabbed my mail last Friday, through it in the bag I was taking to a workshop, and never got it out of the bag until this morning - forgot all about it! I love the ATC you made, as well as the extra! Thanks so much!
Comment: Your swap arrived today! The card is too cute, with a tea cup pocket. All three teas are new to me, and the weather is quickly getting chilly so its perfect weather for hot tea and snuggles! Thank you!
And the fact that your quote is the from Winnie the Pooh is kind of amazing, too.
Comment: I love my journal! What really cool papers - especially the Polar Express (autographed!) page - a favorite story! And the old pattern book pages - I love it all! Can't wait to use it! Thanks so much!
Comment: I LOVE the card I received today! You did a fabulous job on it. I can tell it took a lot of work. How did you do the background paper? I sure hope we get to swap again! Thanks for the post card - I've never been to Arizona, nor received a post card from there. Thanks so much. Have a great day!
Response: I am so glad that you liked the card : ) I painted the background paper with craft paint and a sponge dobber cap (like a bingo ink bottle top) and then sprayed over it with silver shimmer ink. It started as an 8.5"x11" then I cut it down to size. I am glad that you liked the postcard I hope to see you around more too : )
Comment: What a wonderful treat in my mailbox today! The handmade card is beautiful and very clever. All three (!) teas you sent look DELICIOUS! I'm heating water for a cup right now. Thank you so much!
Response: You are so welcome I am really glad that you liked everything : )
Comment: I absolutely LOVE the papers you used on my envies! The vintage wall papers are beautiful and they make such stunning envelopes. Thanks for the lovely selection and little pockets too! Happy summer -
Response: You are so welcome, I love making envies it is a whole hobby unto itself ; )
Comment: Sorry for the late rate! Thank you for the great journal pages! I like how you did them!
Response: No worries, I am really glad that you liked them. It was actually my second attempt. The first time I made them with the paints I had on my desk in front of me which turned out to pinks and pastels. So I remade the pages in your preferred colors.
Comment: Thanks for the awesome papers and embellishments. I love the painted card base-I may not be able to cover it up! The puzzle piece is very cool-(love the face stamp)and the turquoise feathers! A great kit to play with!
Response: Your welcome. I love painting background pages, and that one did turn out especially pretty. Have fun with everything and I hope you make something really neat ; )
Comment: Hi Maranda, Got home today to find your package. I'm really already good on paper, but you gave me an idea that hadn't occurred before. When I see strips I think of paper chains. There are two refugee families with 4 kids next door and I think they'd have a blast making paper chains. I even have some more of the strips I could add in. Isn't that a cool idea? Just never occurred to me. Once you have my packet, if there is something there you particularly like I can send more. You have a sampling. I have lots more.
Response: You are very welcome and paper ring idea is great. I PM you soon and we can go again ; )
Comment: A truly amazing swap! It was slightly damaged by the postal system but they sent along a nice apology note with it -- it was wet and torn -- I guess for the abominable prices they charge we can't expect perfection?! :-) Thanks Maranda!
Response: Oh no I really hope nothing inside was damaged? Thank you very much for the kind rating.
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome swap. The envelopes and note cards are lovely. I am honoured that you would send them to me and will have to force myself to use them instead of just hording them!
Response: Your welcome, I am really glad that you liked everything. Feel free to hoard; I know I have collections of note cards that I love too much to send off just yet ; )
Comment: Thanks for the great PC photos. Your husband does great work! Love the cactus flowers! We went to the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson a few years ago and saw the hawk show. How do you like living in AZ??
Response: I love living in Arizona. Yes it is hot, especially now, but the monsoons help to break it up : ) There are so many different ranges of environments you really get a little of everything. Desert, forest, lakes/ rivers, marshes.... I love it!
Thank you very much for the kind rating I am so glad that you liked the photos.
Comment: Wow, THREE beautiful altered puzzle pieces! I love them all and you did a magnificent job on all of them. They are already displayed. My favorite is the white/silver one =) Many hearts to you and also thanks for the homemade notecard <3<3<3

Comment: Oh wow what a FABULOUS package I opened today....you really made me smile and I TOOOOOO love BIRDS.....and the little doggie puppet to make.... i am getting ready to come out of retirement and this will be so cute to have in my school clinic for elementary kids....... Hugs and THANK YOU for the goodies and the smile they all are bringing!!!! Oh and thank you for making the little gift enclosure cards and envelopes.....can I give more than one heart please?????
Comment: Please thank your daughter for the thoughtful letter and stickers. Malikhai will write back sometime next week! I noticed it was stamped for almost two weeks after the sending deadline, but it made M's day, so I'm giving a heart anyway :)
Comment: Thanks! I appreciated that you sent more than required. You might consider using a sturdier paper next time though especially to someone who has kids! My baby grabbed it while I was unpacking and it has suffered a serious injury that will require surgery. Cardstock vs designer paper might have faired better. I often layer papers when I want to use a cool paper like that one. Loved the shiny stripes. Very yummy candies tho I'm pacing myself and haven't tried them all. My kids will love the warheads. A bit too sour for me. Enjoyed the bottle caps. Can't get them here. Wish there were more!
Response: I am glad you liked it, I will send you more bottle cap candy and a sturdier box ; )
Comment: Thanks for some lovely surprises. Unfortunately, the package got very wet on its way, the german mail enclosed it plastic wraps but now i have to dry it and the colors were bled all through. Nevertheless, I can see you made an extra effort. Thank you.
Response: I am so sorry that your envie got ruined and you were flaked on by the other partner! I will send a replacement so you do not miss out : )
Comment: Hi Maranda,
Thank you for the recipes, as a Michigan girl apple recipes are perfect and I have been wanting to try both of the recipes. The page you made is such a nice start to my future recipe book,
Comment: thanks for the tea! the yogi - licorice tea seems very interesting. just a side note: the envelope didn't travel very well. it arrived rubberbanded by usps, it was practically torn apart. either way, thanks again. :)
Response: Thank you for letting me know I am sorry the envelope wasn't received in better condition. The licorice tea is quite tasty. I hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for the kind rating : )
Comment: Sienna loves everything you sent! Thank you for wrapping everything as it was as much fun to see her open everything as it was to see her reaction! She even said wow, she sent me a lot of stuff! :-) Thank you for making my daughter's day!
Response: Oh yay!! I am so glad, it was really fun putting it all together for her : )
Comment: Thank you for the postage stamp block. I really like the colors you use in the block. Thank you also for the fabrics. I had not seen the fabrics here. They are so rich in color. I will have to find something special to make with the pieces.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely fabric, thread and lace. I don't have any grey thread amoung my thread supplies, so this is great. I do use Mettler thread in my quilting projects and have never had any problems when using the thread.
Response: I am glad, I love it when that happens, you get something you do not already have but can use ; ) Best wishes to you and thank you for the kind rating!

I am so in love with it I can't see myself actually using it - this is going into my "inspiration folder" for sure :) Your work is very neat and precise - a definite treat. I love the ATC kit as well and will use it to make myself a little woodlands wonderland :) Thank you for being a great swapper :)
Response: I am so glad you like it. I was really happy with how it turned out also. I have a collection like that too. Items that are just too neat/ pretty to use : ) I hope it brings you lots of inspiration.
Comment: Hi maranda222! Thanks so much for looking at my profile and making me a pink kitty-themed sewing book...although I think I am going to also use it for my stud earrings...too pretty for just needles!:) Love it!!:) Hope you have a Great Day!Happy Swapping!!Ciao!:)
Response: What a great idea! I love making these little books and that is another great way to use them! Thank you for the kind rating : )
Comment: I can tell you did a lot of work on this swap and the "white dress" is really cute, but the large bead you used on the rose was too big to make it thru the mailing process-it tore off part of the rose and left a hole in the envelope. Maybe wrapping it in bubble wrap?
Response: I am so sorry the bead got destroyed. I made another very similar to the I made you, I will send it to you as a replacement. Thank you for the kind rating : )
Comment: oh my- thank you so much!! i nabbed the mail out of the box before i went to run errands and could smell the amazing garam masala!!!!! cannot wait to cook with it! you're fantastic! drank the coffee as soon as i got home that night and yum yum yum!
Response: You are so welcome : ) I love Garam Masala and hoped you would too. Best wishes.
Comment: What a lovely little needlebook! I like the addition of the beads (am not very good with them myself). Thank you too for the fabric, yes, something for the grandies, I'm sure. Another great swap:)
Comment: you did very well and do love them - however posted after the mail out date - now to start using some of the cards I am getting quite the collection. See you in the next swap - I was going by the postmark of the 22nd - so I guess I will give no hearts to the post office! just you. hope to post pics to my blog soon - so check it out next week.
Response: They went out on Sat (19th) in the afternoon must have missed the truck. Glad they work for ya.
