Comment: Hi Trisha! Love the pc - I am always surprised when I see how cute the shoes were back in the day - most of them could be worn now and be just find!! Thank you for the quote as well - love it as I really do believe in the power of laughter! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: I wish I had it in me to grow things, but plants just do not care for me messing with them. I'd like to grow several things here -- I live on a 20 acre property, so I could do something. That stamp sticker is giving me Richard Scarry vibes; I love it! And the whale rock is so fun.
Comment: Thanks for the PCs you sent for this swap. I really like the squirrel one - I enjoy watching the squirrels in my back wooded area . . .they have such fun chasing each other and going from tree to tree. The pigeon one is interesting - we have our fair share of pigeons and I always feel sorry for them as they seem to be one of the most hated birds! Thanks again and hope to see you in swaps in the future ~~
Comment: If I could give you a hundred hearts I would! I was already happy when I saw the Wonder Woman stamp on the outside of the envelope...but then....oh my! I will cherish that He-man and She-ra postcard til the end of time!!! I also plan on adding the Mario decal to my back window on my car (I have a collection started there lol)...The stickers are super cute! I even love the envelope you made. You can be my swap partner anytime!
Comment: Thank you for the extra PC! I'm glad to hear you had a profitable year! I have a co-worker that is always bringing in veggies because he plants too much! This year we had tomatoes and zucchini, haha! Enjoy the holidays coming up! :D
Comment: Thank you so much, Trisha, for nice thoughtful postcards! It was really pleasurably to receive them, I love everything but especially the one with human anatomy))) Landscapes are also very very beautiful, hope I can visit Yosemite National park someday. And of course animals are so cute! You've made my day, thank you!
Comment: So first I see the awesome, handmade envie you sent everything in and loved it. Then I opened it to find the coolest handmade dragon envie inside! *Then* I open that and find a PC of my all-time fav actress KH! It was like a big cycle of awesome surprises! Thank you so much for the very thoughtful Happy Mail! I love the other PCs, too, and you totally made my day! Many, many hearts for you!!
Comment: You deserve a bushel of hearts and stars, Trisha! Thank you so much for the thoughtful trove of goodies that I can't wait to use -- from the vintage (!!!) Hallmark Ariel stickers and Simba stationery ("I Just Can't Wait to Be King" was one of my favorite songs to belt in the car as a kid, haha -- and I didn't initially realize years later watching Smart Guy on Disney that Simba's singing voice, Jason Weaver, played Taj Mowry's older brother!), Degas clipping and notecard, to the Hello Kitty decal. You are the best! I hope you and your family had a lovely, restful Thanksgiving weekend. Wishing you an always-full mailbox ♥
Comment: I don't know how I got lucky enough to get you twice for swaps, but I'm sure glad I did! Another amazing swap filled with goodies! I also love how you decorated the envies with sugar skulls, bees and awesome pumpkin and Wonder Woman stamps! Many, many thanks for one of my favorite swaps received in a long time!
Comment: Hi Trisha! Wow, way above and beyond on what was a very simple swap! Love everything you included that was personalized to my profile! Love the little envelopes you made to put the loose stickers in- too cute! And especially love the note from you. I love the full moon! And tomato farm WOW! I grow tomatoes, I live in an apartment and just have a few tomato plants in containers on my porch each year. They did very well this year :)
Comment: Thanks for the postcard lot! This was a really fun swap! I love the envelope you that you made (saving it for a pattern in case someday I feel crafty!). Thanks for the deco on the outside envelope also! :)
Comment: How apropos that yesterday was World Ballet Day, and I smiled to see Maria Tallchief and the brightly-dressed Russian dancers in the stack of lovely, thoughtful cards you picked for me :) Thank you for the joy of finding happy mail in my box late last night after a stressful day -- I loved the assortment of strong women (Kahlo and Leigh, yesss!) and favorite cities (NYC, Paris, and San Francisco :) Hope you are having a good week <3
Comment: Wow, I am still processing all the awesomeness you managed to pack into this envelope, Trish...my goodness. Thank you so much for every little bit, I love everything! All the little envelopes and the stickers and the SpongeBob stuff and Star Wars and Miss Piggy....I'm super duper excited to add all this stuff to my paper stash! Thank you also for the note - it's always nice hearing from someone who can relate. :)
Comment: Hi Trish~ Thanks so much for the Amish Buggy PC ~ great farm view card! I'm from Ohio and have been to Sugarcreek area several times to visit the Amish shops there ~ beautiful. Love the washi tape and Judy Banner you added to card. Thanks again and Happy Easter & Spring! Take care, Judy
Comment: Thank you for the great Notre Dame poster card! (I still need to see that film! One of the oldest cinemas in the area has a classic films series that runs twice a week each month. Perhaps I'll catch it that way :) Wow, 41 degrees! I could live in autumnal/wintry temps the whole year, heehee. What is your favorite plant/crop to grow?
Comment: What a cheerful little package, and it arrived today when I really needed the cheering. The envelope was fun with the little ladybugs in the window, and I can't wait to use these kitty strips on some postcards! The card was very nice and I really like the quote. Thanks so much for making me smile :)
Comment: Hello friend! We have also had a mild winter, at least here in the valley. Funny that you send a geological PC, on a week where I am visiting a hot spring! I havent been to Lava Hot Springs in many moon so it sure will be nice to soak. Have you ever been IN one? Lovely! (NOT THE ONE FROM THE PC HAHAHAHA)
Comment: Cool PC with the so factual fact and the drawing on the back! I wish myself also, many camping trips in the upcoming year. Ive dreamed about making ATC in the woods with pine needles and grass, stuff like that. Maybe it will happen this year!
Comment: Hello Trisha! Just wanted to let you know you bee PC came in safe and I love it! It's so beautiful! I hope your sister takes up beekeeping, bee keepers are heroes in my opinion! You are so sweet to carve a stamp for me, I can't even draw, much less carve! ;D
Comment: Tricia - this is an awesome photo and card - the little girl is a lot braver than I to get out on the ice and be that close to an open hole. I don't believe that the ice is strong enough to hold a person let alone lots of people or vehicles! But that's me - I have a phobia. People say it's fun tho, so what do I know.
Comment: I just wanted to say WOW! Your swap was absolutely amazing, thank you so much for creating the envelope templates. I have made a ton and they are addictive! The magnets have been a lifesaver! You have no idea how much I love them :D I love everything, it was better than Christmas opening your package. I hope things are going well on the farm. You mentioned creating me a stamp for my swap cards, that is such a sweet gesture! Wasps and ants are my favorite critters, but I'd be happy with anything if you decided to do that. I really hope you liked your swap as well. These vintage PCs will be put to good use, thank you for thinking of me. You sent me sooo many PC's! That helps a ton, as I was running low. I feel bad as my swap was in no way as amazing as yours but you have inspired my creativity!!
Comment: Wow! You were very generous and each and every item is adorable! I LOVE <3 all of the owls! The one you cut out is really awesome! And the skull prints are perfect. At first glance I thought they were note cards. It's nice to receive from a kindred spirit. Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard. I lived in Shipshewana back in the early 1960's-1972. I went to first grade school in Shipshewana. I remember going by horse and buggy with my grandparents to the flea market.
Comment: My first Dylan postcard! Awesome!
I really like "Bob Dylan's 115th Dream".
the song is just really bizarre and out-there. "Highway 61 Revisited" is an awesome track as well. "Nashville Skyline" is a great album. "Masters of War".... There are a lot of tracks to like. Again, thanks for the postcard. Probably going to have to give a listen now.
Comment: Hi Trisha - love the pc and yes, Hawaii sounds amazing - but my oldest son and sweet DIL are in Germany, so that won my vote if I could do it! LOL! Thanks for the fun share! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: An I just take a minute to say WOW!!! What a cool decorated Envelope! And it's an old envelope you flipped inside out and upcycled, how did you even do that?!? Plus a bat stamp, yes! I am seriously impressed and that's just the envelope! next your senders card (I only recently learned what those were and now I really want some!) is a cool sugar skill stamp. Then you send me three amazing vintage pcs of a mid century hotel, a hotel swimming pool, and the "corn fence" of New Orleans. I will have a hard time parting with and sending these. Last but not least you made me these adorable little envelopes of a iguana and a cell. how cool is that! I want to learn to make these, I am so impressed with your package. Thank you!!! I'd give you ten hearts if I could! You have really inspired me :D Also, I'm keeping this envelope forever! Please let me know if you would ever like to do private swaps, I have some small items I think you may enjoy :)
Comment: Hi Trisha! Thanks for a great envie of fun! I love everything but the Keep Calm and Carry On pc is a favorite! May I ask where you got it? I know some folks might be tired of the Keep Calm phase, but I still love it! LOL! Thanks again for everything - totally made my day! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: I got it in a variety pack on ebay. I think I still have a few in other colors if you're interested.
Comment: OMG! Thank you soooooo much for the Sailor Moon PC!!! WHERE did you find that PC?!?!?! I wish I could shower you with hearts right now!
Comment: Thanks for the delightful envelope of fun stuff and especially your sweet little note. Great to hear from you.. The contents were pretty clever. The washi tape is really pretty, I had not thought about wrapping it around a playing card. The postcards are interesting as well, I like the plantation one just because I've heard of people who live on such. Must be kind of equivalent to Iowa storms in a way. Would you like to live on one? Very sad though to hear of such an enormous crop loss. The sweet corn here in Iowa was not quite good enough for my standards, not very sweet. Most people are getting tomatoes we have to buy our is at a farmers market and they are quite expensive. We've tried to grow them for a couple of years now with no success. Some of the farmers that do this for a living, to supply the farm markets are having a rough time with their crops too. We will hope that winter will kill off anything nasty and that spring will come and you can have a fresh start. I have a heart for farmers and growers so I will pray for you. Thanks for giving my day a lift.
Comment: I loved the stamps on the front so much that I cut them out and used them for two other projects (you should be getting one of those), and I used the envelope for some other crafts as well. Thanks for a very thoughtful package!
Comment: You really went above and beyond on this one--thank you so much! ♥ I love the tiny labels you stamped and all of the amazing journalling goodies you sent. Thank you for taking such care in reading through my profile and sending me special things. Have a wonderful weekend!
Comment: At first it was a challenge to open your envelope because my kitty was trying to help, but once I distracted him with treats and was able to dig in, I was delighted! Thank you for all the awesome stuff!!!
Comment: Hello, Trisha, this is a little embarrassing- I'm not sure you were actually my partner for this swap. Did you use a Harvey Milk stamp for the envelope? I saved the stamp- it came on the day the Supreme Court ruling on SCOTUS came through as a victory- and I made a mental note about Indiana, but then I cleaned up some of my paper stacks... anyway, thank you for the cards if... I loved the little lamb boy and the random photo of the dude at an outdoor market especially. Hope you are having fun swapping! -Rhonda
Response: Yes those were the cards I sent you. How perfect that they came on the ruling day! I love those Harvey stamps!
Comment: Thanks, Trisha! I felt like you put some careful thought into the postcards you selected for me as there was a good variety and all of them are great postcards I can add to my collections!
Thanks so much they are very much appreciated!
Comment: WOW...is really all I can say! You sent everything I love. Especially the sugar skull things. Thank you so much for reading my profile, even though it wasnt required and sending above and beyond. Love the deco tapes and even the cute zip up pouch you sent it in. I will be using that at work for some things... you must have been reading my mind. Thank you again for a wonderful surprise in the mail.
Response: I'm glad you liked your package. I love when I get a partner that I know I have lots of goodies for! I carved the sugar skull stamp myself. :D
Comment: WOW! I don't think I've ever had so much fun digging through a box...you packed the mess out of that thang! I reboxed it just so I could go through it all over again. I can't pick a favorite thing, I tried to, but I just can't...it's an entire box of fun: notebooks, ribbon, embellishments...I totally love all the random bits and bobs, and now I know what zines are, I might get addicted that mini coolness! I would love to climb into your crafting room and just hang out a bit. You rock!
Response: I'm so glad you are happy with your box of goodies! It's so fun that you put *climb into your crafting room* because you actually do have to climb up a ladder to get there. :D And I'd love to have you hang out!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty envelopes. They are very well made and the paper you chose are nice. I especially like the envelope made out of the map. I kinda want to keep it for myself and not use it! :-)
Comment: Trisha, I really enjoyed opening your envelope full of swap goodies. The Ball canning jar note card is right up my alley. The circle cut vintage Christmas cards stirred up some great memories for me. The first year we were married we had a little fresh cedar tree cut down from my in-law's property. We didn't have money for new ornaments, so I took some old cards, cut into circles and crocheted an edge around them and hung them on the tree along with some home baked cookies! We used those ornaments for several years and I haven't thought of them for ages. We've been married 44 years now and have gone through lots of different decorations, but those were personal and held a special place in my heart.
As for swapping, I work where we get in old cards by the hundreds, and I have a circle die cut that's 2.5". Maybe next year I'll get some older cards and sew a garland for my recycle tree!
Comment: Thanks for all my goodies in your beautifully decorated envelope. Almost too pretty to disturb. Beach glass! That post card--I always collect it on the beach in San Juan. I have some in a dish in the window. Your like list-I like also! I like surprises!
Comment: This has gotta be the cutest paper. Ive never seen it before. The little books are so neat. That envie with the mushrooms almost looks like you made the mushrooms. Am I right or not? Very sweet and cute. x
Comment: Super cool! Love all my goodies -- those stamps you made are incredible!!! I need to try it. It looks like an eraser you carved? Regular carving tools?
Response: I'm so glad you liked them. Yes, I buy erasers at the dollar store and use a lino carver and exacto knife. A trick I use is to sketch my image in pencil on paper...then lay the paper face down on the eraser and burnish it. The image is transfered to the eraser. Happy carving!
Comment: Thank you so much for this great swap! :D I love everything, especially the Goddesses :) and hey, I carve stamps, too, so it's great to see someone else's lovely ones. :)
It's a pity this is the final swap in this series. I only joined very late, so got to participate only 3 times... sigh.
Well, thank you once again!!!
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I loved this series. Maybe someone else will start a similar one. If you ever want to do a private swap let me know. I'd love to trade handcarved stamped images!
Comment: You did indeed make me happy! Loved the tulips and tags, the peacock playing cards and the interesting list paper (making lists is one of the things I enjoy). I was very interested in your profile to see that you like SARK. Love her work! Thank you for a wonderful swap!
Comment: You did a great job! I loved the papers you painted. I also never thought to stamp on a lined index card, and the tulips look great like that. I will have to experiment with lined paper. Thank you for going to so much effort.
Comment: I love the tags and elements. Thank you. Nice stamp images. I also have been known to save stuff from the dumpster at work. My coworkers now ask before it goes out. I don't think they really understand but at least they ask. :D
Comment: I received my fabulous package yesterday! Thank you so much for all the extra goodies! You are awesome! I was super excited to receive my envies & you surprised me with smaller envies too! Please, let's swap again soon!
Comment: thank you for all the special stickers. my daughter loved going through all of them... and either you read my profile or we have similar taste. thank you so much for the NBC and skully stickers. favorites!!!! gonna have to stick them to my steering wheel or phone :)
Comment: I love all of the goodies, Trisha! Vintage looking butterflies, the sticker....believe it or not the books I read in Kindergarden looked a lot like these pages you sent. GREAT ephemera package. Thanks for parting with some of your treasures!
Comment: EXTRA SPECIAL PACKAGE !!!!!-WOW
I love each notecard that you selected for me especially the 3-D card.
Thank You for the FIVE extra items- such a generous gift. I am new to swaps and see many types of crafts that I want to try. You have given me the first of papercraft supplies. I was a textiles person for so long. I am into exploring paper crafts now. These owl tags, owl cutouts and the Paris and Postage ATC card are wonderful. Someone's been reading my profile -You are so thoughtful. So Lucky Me says thanks for brightening my day week and month and Swap Bot experience.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome items! I love everything! I really love the envelope you sent it all in & the Washi tape on the back. Do you have any more of the envelopes & would you like to do a private swap for them?
Comment: Thank you so much for this fun bunch of stuff! I can't wait to start using it!
Many apologies for not rating sooner. I swore I'd done it before, but realized I hadn't while doing some account maintenance this morning.
Comment: Thanks a lot for the nice things you sent me, I especially like the stickers and the rub-on stickers:). Thanks a lot, best wishes, Betty
P.S.: I am total in love with rub-on stickers, unfortunately I can´t get them here. If you have too much of them and would like to swap, just pm me ;)
Comment: Thank you Trisha for making my day with swap card and extras. Love the butterflies & the coffee pot. So cute. You said you were in the area 20 yrs. ago. You probably would not recognize the area now. Just since 1998 I have been here & this area seems to have quadrupled in size. Always new building around here. I enjoyed your note and look forward to seeing you around Swapbot:-) blessings, ellie
Comment: Thanks for the goodies and stamps! Love it all. I've never seen an orange measuring tape before, I already know what I'm doing with it :) I also never thought to do embossing on the back of a ticket, cool idea, I'll be stealing it
Comment: Trisha, I wish i could give you more hearts, this package was so special. There wasn't anything i didin't like, the owl stamp you have carved yourself is great! I love the postage stams with the card as well. And the paper stuff as so going to my smash book :) You really spoiled me with this one! You are a great swapper!
Comment: Thanks for the great envie of goodies! Everything will make great additions to my smash books and junk journals!
I also think that it's great that you are a fellow Doxie lover, and I loved the story about your Daisy Mae. Sounds like you were meant to be her furever Mom!
Comment: OH MY!!! My package arrived last night and I absolutely love it. Everything is so perfect - I wore the darling gloves today. I'm a lip balm fiend and I love candles so much. I will be bringing the tea to enjoy at work. And the icing on the cake - the fantastic Beatles and Harry Potter magnets - did you make those? I LOVE THEM!! Thank you so much for a beautiful, thoughtful package!!
Response: I'm really glad you liked everything! After I got those gloves for this swap....I almost kept them for myself! And yes I did make the magnets. :) Thanks for the heart!!
Comment: Thanks for the envie of goodies. I wonder if your Dad is talking about the Football Hall of Fame inductions. That takes place around Labor day, and the Football Hall of Fame Museum is up the street from my house! There is a large outdoorsman/sportsman show in the fall as well in a small town about 20 min for here as well!
Response: Maybe that was it...I'll have to ask him. Thanks for the heart dear!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely notecards--I especially love the owl--so cute--and the roses done by the lady who paints with her teeth (that sounds weird, doesn't it?)....anyway...great selection...thank you!
Response: That does sound weird! I'm glad you liked them. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the great bits and pieces! I will have so much fun using them! The envie is great too! I love using inside out envies with windows in my smashbooks and they are great for Zentangle backgrounds too.! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Glad you liked them! I never thought about using the windows in smashbooks...I'll have to try it. Thanks for the heart!
