Comment: Thank you for the post card. It looks a beautiful place. I think I could settle there as well. I stay quite close to the coast. Actually it's the Firth of Forth (the Forth estuary.) Nearer the sea it's quite attractive, at our end the view is dominated by one of Europe's biggest oil refinerys and chemical plants
Comment: Thanks for the resend. I'm sorry my mail messed up and it all went missing. You're right, traffic in that part of California is TERRIBLE. It's the only thing I dislike about that, otherwise I love visiting
Comment: I love this PC- the photography is extraordinary how the shadows and and light are captured. I love night scape photography and this PC shall forever be one of the top PC's ever. Thx for the update on your experience with the Ca fire. Best of Wishes for your health, safety and home.

Comment: Hello Susan, thanks a lot for your beautiful postcard! I visited Hollywood years ago and, of course, remember the hand and foot prints. But never got such a good card of the theatre and it looks much better then in the 1990‘s! Greetings from Germany!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful cat PC! My cat has a lot of white fur and I have white cat hair everywhere. Even if I'm trying to be careful because I don't want to show up somewhere covered in white cat hair I still find hair on me. LOL!
Comment: Hi Again Susan,
Thank you for the nice train PC.
Kids make me happy to. I am fortunate to have almost always had young ones around. Our own two girls, then our neighbor's daughter, currently our good friends 4-year-olds, and our own little granddaughter.
I love nothing more than hearing the happy sounds of children as they play and explore the world.
Comment: Hi Susan,
Thank you so much for the lovely PC and message.
I should take art classes. I love to drawer and paint but I am not good at it. I keep practicing but am probably just practicing my errors.
Best Wishes to You,
Comment: Enjoyed your scattergories K answers, Susan.
Bingo is my guilty pleasure too! I prefer paper games to the machines and wowee what a challenge that Hawaiian gardens Bingo is! More than one buy-in with their fast callers and you are sunk! Haha!😅
Comment: The postcard is beautiful! I love London! Ventura is a special place for me, my father used to take me fishing with him there on a day boat. My husband I camp there too. Dreams do come true! XOXO
Comment: Hi Susan! Thank you for the queen Mary PC as i have been on that ship when it was parked at Long Beach. Maybe it is still there after many years. Did you get this weeks goals done? You are very ambitious! Wow what did you buy for the potluck party? Also too what art are you working on? Inquiring minds want to know! Be well!

Comment: This is a beautiful baby! And it's fun to hear others are as crazy about cats as I am. My dad kept a special pillow on his bed JUST for the cat, and no one else was allowed to use it! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you so much Susan! This butterfly - we call it admiral - is a frequent guest of our Northern garden. Usually they appear in August. This year there were plenty of them. So beautiful! Thanks a lot for the card! 💜💌🦋

Comment: I have received so many things from you over the years swapping that I knew this pc was you from the handwriting. Lol Thanks for a cute dog pc! We had a yorkie named Max. He was actually a big boy, weighing almost 20 pounds. He looked like a giant next to a friend’s lil 4 pound one. Lol
Comment: Hi Susan. Thnaks for the lovely card. I really like it. Yes the gardens are a niec place to visit. I've lived here about 3 years and have yet to go to Quarry Park. Riverside has some great places to take the grandkids sledding!
Comment: Beautiful black nightscape big full moon postcard. I recently came West for the first time and I took a train from Ephrata, WA to Seattle, WA. I did not get to see the Needle as I immediately got on a plane for CA. I did not get any postcards from there so thanks so much for this one. Enjoyed your note
Comment: Love the bunnies so cute thank you. The resend is awesome
Response: Will send a new card out to you today to rectify this situation. Wrote you a note explaining that the card was sent but must have been lost in the mail. You should receive the card within the next few days.
Comment: Hi Susan!
Thank you for sending me a nice card. Oregon has several nice lighthouses and always a joy to see them guarding the coast. I hope to visit and see the lighthouses there someday. Best regards!
Comment: What a pretty boy in all his collaged splendor! Love it! As for me, I'd love a kitten too but my kitty is too stand-offish now and if I introduced a kitten I'd lose him forever and can't have that! Thank you!
Comment: Thanks for the great card. I have not been to the New England states but want to do a drive in the Fall one day. I loved the very long covered bridge in the pic as well. I love covered bridges.
Comment: I love black nightscape PCs with a moon illumination and the lights of the city. Perfect choice for me. My Brother lived there a couple of years and I should have visited back then.
THanks so much! Mary
Comment: Boy, could they paint that lighthouse any more RED than that, Sue?! Thanks for the great card! There is a lighthouse in the L.A. area I have been to and liked a lot--Point Fermin in San Pedro. I hope you didn't miss that one!
Comment: Hi Susan! LOVED your unless facts! Thank you for the time you put into finding me some great useless facts! Love throwing these into a conversation with friends which usually ends up like where did you get that last question?which usually I’ll begin as Did you know...? Haha! People seem to want to know where i find these little tidbits! Thanks!
Comment: Hi Susan! I really appreciated your personal story of your cat that really became your parents cat. It was so nice to share something personal because we are afterall human beings! Those kittens were sure cute on the PC! Thwnk you again!
Comment: Received in my first batch of Swap-Bot cards, how can one not heart such an occurrence! And I have had my fair share of crossing paths with the UofAz so I find it pleasantly ironic that I get a card from there. Hope your son finds what he is looking for.
Comment: Wonderful card, Susan - thanks very much.
I've been to London twice - once with my sister and we saw Queen Elizabeth three times in two days - our joke was that it was HER that was following US around! thanks again, Carol
Comment: Hello Susan,
Thank you for taking the time to prepare and send this postcard to me. I enjoyed reading your note about the seals. I would love to live somewhere that could go have breakfast with the seals. Have a Great Week! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the pretty cityscape of Portland and note. Collecting postcards does make traveling more fun! I’m trying to talk my husband into driving down to a town called Hell, Michigan, so I can get some Halloween postcards. Hehe

Comment: Thank you for your card. When I was in New Mexico I loved to watch the wild horses with their young. Amazing! Lucky for me, both my immediate neighbors have horses I love to visit! They love peppermints.
Comment: Hi Susan! Thank you for the pretty lighthouse pc - I want to go on that road trip as well! Have you been up inside a lighthouse? We walked up to the top to one in FL and I thought I would die before we got there but the view was so worth it! Great memories! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: such a great and perfect card, i love such cards, i read the facts about the elephants on the way from post boxes to my flat and i really didnt know that facts. I will use these in my english lessons.
Comment: Dear Susan,
Thank you for your lovely postcard!
Your Christmas sounded like a beautiful fest! I hope it turned out exactly how you wanted. :-)
Hopefully 2018 will be a great year for you!
Sending you my best wishes,
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful post card. I've never been to California and this card makes it look so nice. Afraid there are just too many people for me. I'm more of the small town and wide open spaces type. Thanks again.
Comment: I received the swap as I marked in my book, usually before market in my book I rate but just looking at this one I didn’t rate you. Please accept my apology, it is something I’m usually right on top of because I feel it’s very important to rate people right away.
Comment: Susan, thank you so much for this postcard of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra building. I'm so very sorry to be rating you so late! This building makes me wonder what the room the orchestra plays in looks like! :-) Thank you for sharing this card with me! â¤
Comment: Hi Susan! Thanks so much for the beautiful Christmas card and sweet greeting. Love the snowy winter scene with all the glittery and shiney accents. I actually placed it on my refrigerator! I wish you all the best in this new year of 2018. Take care, Judy
Comment: Greetings from a very windy Illinois today,
Thank you for your PC and quotes. I don't believe I've seen a straight up Portrait style PC before so this was kinda different in a neat way.
Here' hoping your mailbox is filled with happy mail:-)
have a great weekend,
Comment: That is a very good quote that I have heard before, but think is hard to keep in mind sometimes. It kind of goes along with something I heard in church last week when my pastor said, "your words are alive; they are either going somewhere to tear someone down or to build someone up." Thank you for the postcard!
Comment: Thank you for the very interesting card. I've been watching the fires and flooding on the news and it's just terrible. I hope you haven't been too badly impacted by all this. Wishing you all the best.
Comment: Sue, seeing your postcard brought back a lot of memories. We used to have a boat that we docked for the summer. Just looking at the docks was looking at something the past. Thank you for the postcard. Shirley
Comment: Mmmm looks like a wonderful place, wonderful Warm place. I’m pretty much done with winter and know Christmas and New Year’s is over, we can get into summer anytime now or send me some please like to the Bahamas. Thank you for the PC.
Comment: Hello Susan! I loved the Santa Barbara postcard. I was there in Oct 2016 for a wedding at a really fancy schmancy resort. Sad to hear of its difficulties in the fires this year! Happy New Year!
Comment: Sue, thanks for the two owl postcards! and I love the fruit stamp and I have been wanting a penguin one of my own. I send em out all the time but I love this one so much . thank you merry Christmas!
Comment: So sorry you missed out on your trip, Susan...how disappointing. I hope you get to try the trip again very soon...beautiful pc. Mid-80s is so wrong for this time of year! Have a fabulous Christmas and a blessed New Year!
Comment: Thank you for a lovely card and the special envelope. Here in Australia only the fanciest of cards come in these types of envelopes, so I felt quite special opening it :D
Have a wonderful holiday season :D
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful Christmas card, it’s going to make a great addition to my Christmas card display. Also thank you for the tag going to do some present wrapping today and I’ll be using it. Have a Merry Christmas
Comment: Hello again from Illinois,
Thank you for your PC. Congrats on your daughter getting married. Best wishes to the bride.
Lake Winnipesaukee, NH
How about Lake Wedowee, AL
My brother in-law took up fishing there last summer. Gotta be Indian names for sure.
Comment: Two days ago it was 70 here, and last night it got down in the 20's!!! Our southern weather is so unpredictable, but at least it feels more like winter now! Thanks for the lovely PC, and I wish you a very merry Christmas!
Comment: LOL! Thank you for the funny cat card. Getting a good laugh from a Christmas card is the best. I saw some hilarious ones, but they were kinda naughty so I went with cats too. You can always count on them to be funny. Thanks again for the great swap & the stickers too :)
Comment: We have had unseasonably warm temps all fall. However, a storm front went through this afternoon, and the next ten nights will be well below freezing! No precipitation thus far, but I am really hoping for a white Christmas - or at least a white Christmas Eve :)
Comment: Hi Susan ! First, I want to thank you, for joining my swap. Was fun! Thank you for the beautiful Card, what you wrote about what you like about Christmas, & the gift tag. Love it what you wrote, about lights and loved the card & tag ! I love the lights myself & looking at everyone else's. So pretty ! Merry Christmas Susan !
Comment: Thank you so very much for the Vintage truck card! I wish more would had signed up for the swap, This trucks reminds me so much of my Father's old truck that he loved!!! I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas!!!!
Comment: Thank you for the cute card and stickers, Susan! I had a hard time choosing what design I wanted to get to send for this swap! So many cute cards with dogs to choose from this year, it seems! Happy Holidays!
Comment: Thanks for the illustrated postcard with antique items—including an old fashion camera; I love it! I can’t believe it was 95 degrees on Thanksgiving in CA! It wasn’t even that hot in central Texas. I’m sure turkey day on the beach was fun & novel for many, but it makes me worried (even more) about climate change. But I won’t let that bring me down during the holiday season, and when I receive such awesome happy mail!
Comment: Dear Susan,
Thank you so much for your lovely card and christmas stickers.
It really made my day.
I wish you a lovely christmas diner with your daughter and all the best for the next year.
Comment: I come from near dc so I can relate on rarely going into the city unless I want to see the wizards or capitals (and rarely the nationals) play or if I want to see a museum or two. I hope to see LA at least once but I think I will try to take roads less traveled, that’s how I had the most fun in England when I was 15/16, the tours or locations not too touristy were the best
Comment: Thank you for the neat postcard! It is a new one for my collection an I like it very much! My favorite Thanksgiving food is pumpkin pie.... and fennel! Also love the turkey as it is the only time in the year I eat it!
Comment: Love the wild cat card. I have visited a big cat sanctuary in Indiana that has Jaguars, lions, tigers, lynx, cougars, cheetahs, etc. they are so close you could touch them but you aren’t allowed. Seeing the cats that close only deepened my love for them! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
Comment: Lovely card :) I enjoy BINGO as well. I've never been to Las Vegas, but it is one of the cities I plan to visit one day. Congrats on your daughter's engagement! Thanks for sharing your facts with me.
Comment: I love the postcard. I lived in Carlsbad when I graduated school. I had a job there and met my husband. His job moved us around and away from California. My brother lives there and says the heat from the Santa Ana's are pretty bad.
Comment: Thank you for the winsome, vivid little Eurasian bullfinch ♥ and for sharing some of your recent watchlist with me! I always watch SVU whenever it's on, although, thanks in part to USA's constant marathons, I don't think I've ever watched it on NBC during its actual seasons -- and I miss everyone from Chris Meloni, Stephanie March, and Diane Neal to Richard Belzer, Dann Florek, and Danny Pino. The shows I tune into each week are Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (so underrated!) and Bob's Burgers. Hope you are having a good week, Susan!
Comment: Susan, thank you very much for the postcard of the CT lighthouses. I love the fall especially the changing of the leaves, that is why in 2 weeks we are driving to MA from NC to see the changing of the leaves and also enjoy cider, apples, and all the good things that fall has to offer there. Beautiful country, Western MA. Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful butterfly card! Butterflies like fragrant and brightly colored flowers. Do a little research on your area and find out what native plants attract them. You can also get hummingbird and butterfly feeders to hang in your yard.
Comment: Hi Susan, thanks for the postcard with the rainbow, it is very pretty! We are doing OK here--many of our neighbors and friends have had to tear out drywall and carpets, though. It's devastating to drive around and see how much damage was done by H2O.
Comment: Very cool lighthouse! My younger daughter backpacked on Isle Royale on a Girl Scout trip when she was in high school, and loved it. I will have to send her a picture of the card. Thanks, and happy swapping!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful, colorful multiview of New York City, Susan! I so wish I could return soon -- especially since there are so many great musicals and plays on the boards this winter/spring :) I hope you get to spend more time there next trip!
Comment: Thank you! There's a poppy festival every year that takes place a few town south of us. We haven't been yet, but this may be the year! Though, we'd probably rather go when the festival isn't going on so we can avoid the crowds.
Comment: Thank you for the adorable vintage Christmas mail cat card, Susan! It looks just like my darling Kuting =^_^= I'm pinning the card on my mood board ♥ Thank you also for your kind wishes; I also hope you and your family have a wonderful, warm Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's celebrations!
Comment: Frosty Greetings Susan, from Illinois where it is 40 degrees and expected lows in the 20s tonight. Brrrrrrrr!
Thank you for the darling glittered snow man card.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year of Swapping.
Comment: Oh boy, there's just something about a bunch of stickers on an envelope in my mailbox - it makes me feel happy when I look at the variety of styles within a theme. The card you sent is just precious! A red stocking hanging from a snow-covered pine, filled with holly and pinecones and those happy birds...just lovely, thank you. You made my day.
Comment: This was a cute kitten card, thanks for sharing! I've never had a Maine coon cat before, but have been considering getting one when we find its time to add more to our family. We currently have 4 kitties, all rescues. Sadie is a solid black shorthair, Stonewall, is a black long haired 20 pound boy with light gray underfur, he's our shy one, lol! Molly looks quite like a Siamese with blue eyes, and blue markings, though she's got long hair, and Sophie who is our newest rescue. We got her over the summer...she's a 4 year old calico darling, and super social.
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for the majestic, authoritative-looking great owl and wonderful quote! (I thought I was up-to-date with rating but am now finding mail that was mislaid by family members.) Hope you are well, and belated Chag Sameach!
Comment: Belated thank you for the beautiful view of the Chinese Theatre, Susan -- the closest I've come is visiting its replica at Disney's MGM Studios in Orlando :) There was no queue for the ride, so my friends and I dashed through, but I paused to glance at some of the film memorabilia in the cases, including one of Clark Gable's costumes and a copy of the Gone With the Wind script (I had just finished reading the novel the evening before we rode :) Hope I will get to visit and tour vintage Hollywood landmarks one day soon. Happy Autumn <3
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful image of vividly-attired dancers, Susan, that reminds me of one of my favorite styles to teach in Zumba, samba :) I hope you had a great time on your trip; I love the Pacific Northwest, too! Happy almost fall <3
Comment: Thank you for helping me see another bit of the world on this Tuesday with your gorgeous view of Edinburgh Castle, Susan! Hope your song had a lovely birthday celebration with friends and family :) I still marvel at how old my younger siblings are, because I feel like they were just kids... Hope you are well! <3
Comment: My mail was finally forwarded from Cambodia. Thank you for the wonderful hummingbird card! We've had a few in the yard this summer but not many! Apologies this took so long to reach me/me to rate!
Comment: I marked you a 5 originally because I was SURE you'd sent me something even if I never could find it. Low and behold, somehow a handful of cards got wedged under a rarely moved box on my counter. Thanks for the lovely view of Seattle and by now you've gone so I hope you had a great time :)
Comment: Thank you for the darling fox card and powerful quotes -- I have loved the Pavese quote for a long time, thanks in part to its appearance on a rubber stamp at Michael's :) Hope you have a good weekend, Susan!
Comment: Hey Susan, thanks so much for the great card of the Venetian! We just returned from a trip in July. We go every year. My hubby loves to play and I love to do some photography and hike. It was WAY to hot to hike this year though. Why we picked July is beyond me though! Won't do that again. Take care and win big girl!!! Jane
Comment: I'm extremely sorry for the late rating. I found a bunch of postcards that fell down behind the couch. I've been going crazy looking for them again I'm extremely sorry for the late rating Thank you for the Wonderful postcard.
Comment: Ahhhhh, thank you so much for this adorable card of manatees, Susan :) One of my dreams is to swim with them; they look so gentle, docile, and harmless. (I sometimes visit the Calming Manatee meme site :3) This is going on my mood board next to my favorite cat postcards! Thank you, and happy Thursday!
Comment: Hi Susan! I rec'd your PC on 30jun16. I'm sorry for taking so long to rate, but I do love the PC :) I would totally buy this card if I was visiting Los Angeles! I bet you have lots of "star" sightings!!
Comment: Thanks for the Washington postcard. I really don't like going to the dentist. Your postcard reminded me I need to make an appt. I had to cancel my last one and just haven't rescheduled. I need to find a dentist closer to me. My current one is 45 minutes away. But I was one of his very first patients MANY years ago.
Comment: Thank you for the gentle-, even wistful-looking barred owl (also unfamiliar to me, except for seeing it on one of my favorite vintage postage stamps :) card and for sharing your trip to the museum with me, Susan! Hope you have a good weekend!
Comment: Hi Susan, All the way from the Pacific NW to Chicago is a long ways. Are you from the Pacific NW? We just came back from visiting my son there a couple weeks ago, that is the area I was born and raised. Hope you had a great 4th! I am already missing the ocean again.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful light health card I love it I have never been there but I've seen some light houses in Erie PA. I love just to sit and watch the water hit off of them it was so peaceful.
Comment: what a lovely postcard quote! looking at the close up of the flower was just a beautiful time out and i enjoyed the experience immensely! Thank you for sending me this postcard Susan! In meditation this is what we tap into being aware of this moment over and over again. I love it because when it is time to die i can. I have lived moments and been present to my life as much as possible. Thank you again for the time out to experience this moment the present moment!
Comment: HI Susan! The postcard you sent of Mount Rainier was gorgeous! I am so glad that you could come west and enjoy yourself! I do enjoy living on the west coast! Yes things are pretty green except this year we are having a major year of hot days now. Glad that you mailed me this postcard. Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the cheery great horned owl card :) It was my school's mascot, so I am particularly fond of it and barn owls, which I associate with Athena, my favorite Greek personage as a kid. Happy weekend!
