Comment: Oh-How wonderful-I got two from you! Really like the one you started with the texture paste and rainbow colored. The "real" page is fantastic-the elements are wonderfully nature oriented-great old illustrations and the old texas almanac background. Very pleased with the journal pages and then extra pages from that old Texas almanac-thanks so much for sharing with me!
Response: I am really glad and relieved that you like the page as well as the extras. Thank you for your kind words.
Comment: I love your atc, Melissa! I used a butterfly on mine, too! And your background paper is so beautiful! I've penciled your username on them so I can give you credit when I use them! Thank you so much for sharing your art with me!
Response: Thank you for being so thoughtful and for liking the ATC.
Comment: Thanks so much for the great recipe. It sounds really good. I don't mind the Christmas card at all. Thanks for the extra cards too. I save all the envelopes from swaps too and do exactly the same thing, lol. It gives me a great selection when I'm crafting. Thanks for being so patient with your rating. Lots to catch up on!
Response: Thank you. It's good to know I'm not alone, lol.
Comment: Hi Melissa - Thanks so much for the two beautiful Rolos. They came out so pretty and I love the lace that you added. It will look really nice in my spinner. I hope you had fun making your Rolos. Thank you for joining the swap. Take Care -Vanne
Comment: I went through the same challenges with this. I found that allowing the stamps to sit for a few seconds longer helped as well as choosing a stamp with simple lines. I also found cheap watercolours worked better also. I love the colours you chose. Thank you!
Response: Thank you for being so kind. This swap was terrifying! I'm not sure if I will try this one again or not.
Comment: I love your flip book! This swap was my first time making a flip book, and I used plain yellow. I love that you stenciled, and all the details of each page is wonderful! I enjoy this group, I learn something new. Great job!!!
Comment: So lovely. What a great idea! I honestly struggled making my Lace a focal point too! This was the hardest so far for me. I could have done a lace rosette by gathering once edge and forming it into a circle but it made the center too thick for one stamp and I hate paying extra for postage!! Lol! Thank you for joining my swap! ETA: the post office slaughtered your envelope. It arrived torn open with an entire corner missing. Your card was all torn up too. If there were any extras, they are gone. I was amazed that they ATC was still in there. A minor miracle to be sure!!
Response: Oh my goodness, that is what I was afraid of. I hope the ATC was at least still in one piece. One more reason to avoid international swaps unless they only require the minimum postage, $14 is a lot to pay for you to receive a hot mess. Thank you for being awesome!😎
Comment: I love my recipe book!!!! I, too, was unsure as to what to do, but mine was "fat" too!! I probably wont sign up for another one with so many pages....Whew, I thought I'd never get thru!! It was fun, though!! Thanks again!!
Response: Great, I'm glad you were not disappointed. I was so afraid you would be. Thank you so much for the reassurance!
Comment: HAPPY MAIL DAY! What a treat-great King's set altered playing cards and then oh my gosh-Paper Dolls! How wonderful-I love them-you are so generous. Thanks for taking time to read my profile! Thank you so much for swapping with me!
Response: I am so happy that you liked the paper dolls. I am glad they went to a good home😀.
Comment: OMFGosh! Are you kidding me! Not one, not two but THREE sewn bags! From a dog food bag no less~ These are thee coolest things I have ever gotten in a swap I think. You have totally restored my faith in swapping! Oh I hope I get you as a swap partner again some time! I will proudly use all three bags all the time. The BIG one I will use as my beach bag because sand won't stick to it like my current bag does. How freaking perfect is that! The medium size one I will use for groceries and the small bag is like the perfect fit for my gun & ammo! You totally ROCKED this swap. A zillion hearts to you my Dear! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Response: You are truly one of a very special kind....one I wish here were more of.......YOU R TOPSHELF!!!
Comment: When I decided to host this swap I never dreamed I would receive a package so special,,your card is amazing, the flower is perfect and I am proud to add this card to my collection..I am just stunned at all the great extras,,,Feels like my birthday,,you sure know how to make a girl cry,,,a good cry,,,Thank you so very very much
Response: I glad you like everything and thanks so much for helping me learn something new!
Comment: Thank you for resending..I am sad to say I never get the other card maybe somebody needed to enjoy it more than I did,,Anyway this one is very pretty and I am very happy to add it to my collection
Comment: Thank you for the cards, I love them. Wrens are one of my favorite birds. I usually have a little fat one around in the winter, but I don't think I've seen it.
Sorry I forgot to rate you sooner.
Comment: I love this ATC-but on the other end of the spectrum-I don't like oatmeal! I like how you used all the colors in the packaging-to bring out the red-white-blue and glittering the fruit-just all over appealing to the eye!
Response: Sorry about the oatmeal...lol....it isn't my favorite either! Thank you for such a nice critique!!!
Comment: Absolutely l-o-v-e your handmade coffee postcard. I have no idea how I would get along without coffee anymore... I drink it all day long - while the caffeine is a need I just love the taste even more. Fun swap - Happy Holidays! Take care, Annette
Comment: Such fun packaging and lovely goodies inside. Thank you so much. My grandma was from Brownsville, TX and with Thanksgiving being yesterday she was on my mind so it was a nice confirmation from her to see your return address today. Thank you!!
Comment: Hey Melissa! I received #2 and #3 today and I think they're both terrific! Love how the seeds actually look like they are dispersing in #2 and since you put a butterfly on #3 that's a winner too! =) Thanks for being so conscientious with the learning curve on your laminator. You did great!
Comment: I have never laughed so hard at a postcard before. Yes I do think they use ink blots for that, but of course, only the best people are a bit crazy. ha ha ha. Thanks for the lovely card and awesome laugh. I really enjoyed both.
Comment: I just HAVE TO KNOW... are those REAL pubes? Beard or armpit hair? They look REALLY convincing............
anywho. Nope, no problem on this end with it not being a picture... swap requirements did not call for that.
UPDATE: You have selected your supplies well!
Response: ROFLMAO....NO! That is some of the stuffing out of my dogs bed.....it was just too similar to pass up....baahaahaa...I was a little hesitant, but only a little:D
Comment: I loved your ATC! It was perfect for the weather here in southern illinois. It was 109 degrees yesterday! I also liked what you did with the envelope. I am going to try that myself. Looks like fun.dont be intimidated by artists. We are all learning new techniques everyday and we learn from each other. And I love to see how others interpret an idea. My work use to be very large..4 x. 6 feet was not unusual, so making something ATC size is a whole new world to me. thank you for a great swap.
Comment: My daughter loved it. She thought it was so pretty. I liked it to. Thank you for putting a smile on our faces. :)
Response: Great! I was a little worried about it once I got mine. It only had about 3 stickers and I thought, Oh my, maybe I went to far...LOL...I had a great time doing it and tell your daughter thank you for such a wonderful comment. :)
Comment: Thanks for another great swap Melissa! I love your new recipe cards :). Don't you just love getting to choose any breakfast recipe (without having the correct letter), lol! I'm sending mine out tomorrow!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome cards! I know what you mean about it being difficult to part ways with your ATCs. I felt the same way about swapping mine! I think my favorite of the ones you sent was the Smell A Corn! What a funny idea! Thanks again!
Comment: THANX for the really AWESOME AQUARIUM pictures!!! I THINK that Bed is great!!!! I saw the toilet to go with your sink too ;-) .... hope you enjoy a 5 â¤ï¸ rating for them!!! ;-) Blessings!!! cc💕
Comment: Wow, you did great finding these. Lots of info to keep me busy and to keep the boredom away! I especially love the info about my area (believe it or not, I've never seen this much info on our small county before), and I'm surprised about the haunted cemetery that's just down the road from me! Thanks for all the effort you put into this, everything was great.
Comment: The recipes look great. My family loves wings so this will be nice to try. Definitely not getting tired of the recipe cards that you make. They're very nice! Thanks you and thanks for the extra one too!
Comment: Wow! the postage stamps are all pretty. Your drawings on the front make me smile. They are very pretty. I wish i could draw like that. Inside the envelope is filled with such pretty handmade bookmarks. The note cards and the store bought bookmarks are cool. Thank you so very much. Everything is just right for me.
Sorry it took me so long to review. I decided to wait until Christmas to open it and days just kept passing by. I loved the goodies you sent! I was so excited to start using my new color pens! Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year :)
Response: Thank you, I was worried you hadn't gotten it. Happy New Year!
Comment: They look delicious! I can't wait to them!! Loved your cards! I have sent out your recipes for the casserole swap. I haven't rated you for that one because I haven't received it, I have messaged you about this.
Response: Thank you but it would be nice if you would send your swap to me. And rate for the casserole swap
