Comment: Thanks for the great postcard! I live a few hours from the border of Louisiana so yes I’ve been. Hadn’t been to New Orleans yet. It’s on my bucket list! I love history too! I sucked at it in school but I appreciate it now! I enjoy museums and would love to see the WW II museum. Thanks for the card! Have a great weekend!
Comment: Wow!!! Thank you, what fun and exciting goodies to explore through! Can’t wait to use them!!! Thank you for the thoughtfulness in picking out such amazing things, and your generosity in sending so many!!!😃🦋🦋🦋
Comment: Thanks for the pretty postcard! We went to Harper's Ferry once or twice eons ago when we lived in Maryland, and we cut across the narrow top bit while driving on I-70 a few years back, but I've never spent significant time in West Virginia.
Comment: Thank you for this Milwaukee postcard, Meredith! I read with interest the facts you shared, and I love your use of different colors of ink for every section! :-) Thank you ever so much for sharing!

Response: I'm so glad you like it! I did have a hard tone making it, so that takes a weight off my shoulders, lol. It was wonderful swapping with you!
Comment: Thank you for my purple goodies. So many of the items I would have purchased myself to use so very awesome! I have been doing a lot of work with twine so perfect timing. The bag is very cute and I will have to hide it from the girls! Hugs, Mona

Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! Thanks for swapping with me :-)
Comment: I really liked this idea and the cards Thanks!
Response: Yay I'm so glad they got to you! The post office guy said they didn't need more postage, I was worried they should have had more than 71¢. I guess not! I'm glad you enjoyed everything! I almost didn't want to send the cards, I liked them so much :-)
Comment: Thank you so much, Meredith, for the extra large bag of goodies! I love the way they all coordinated. My favorite was the acorn material - I can already think of a million things to do with everything. Thank you again!!
Comment: Thank you! I think the lie is that you hate summer. :)
Response: Well...I have to admit...I meant to write "I hate winter", but I wrote summer instead, so I apologize, they're actually all truths. I kind of like summer, but I definitely don't love it, lol. Sorry...so in essence, you are right :-)
Comment: Hi Meredith! Thanks for the yummy recipes. I've been looking for a good chili recipe and the one you sent with the cocoa powder has me intrigued! Will try to make it soon! I liked the recipe cards you used, too! Cute! Thanks for hosting this fun swap! Happy Swapping! Valerie
Response: That chili recipe is out of this world! If you check out my cooking blog (link on my profile) you can find that one under "Kroll's Chili". It had the original ingredient list, then the ones we put into use (which I like better add it had a little more of a kick). :-)
Comment: your swap could not have come on a better day. I am fine but my daughter is not well-maybe mono and she is in Texas and we are in Missouri. We just got back from driving there-almost 2000 miles in 5 days. anyway i love all of the pretty papers, the beads and buttons, washi tape. thanks so much and I can't wait to start using them items!!!
Comment: great surprises in the shark bag-the buttons are great-so many different shades, note cards, tiny tags, a whole roll of wasi tape and pretty blue butterfly atc. you are very generous. Thanks for a wonderful swap.
Comment: yummy, thank you! thanks also for laundry soap! I like making homemade household cleaners for things as buying the less harsh ones is quite pricey. I haven't made laundry soap yet, this will encourage me to give that a try finally :)
Comment: Thanks for the great towel and the personalized Santa cap! I love it! Have a wonderful holiday! Added 12/27 -- oops -- I blanked that there were no recipe cards, and just got them today! Thank you!
Comment: I am really impressed that you could MAKE the oven mitt! Wow - I can't sew to save my life! It is really pretty! Thank you so much for that, the hot pad, the recipe, recipe cards, and tea! You were very generous! I DO like the oven mitt!
Comment: What a great swap! I had to use a letter opener so I wouldn't mess up the "E"! (cool stamp) The punch sounds awesome. The pizza sauce and rocky road, I might have to make as Christmas gifts. As for the cake, my favorite birthday cake is chocolate with cream cheese icing... your recipe sure fits the bill! Love the retro cards.
Response: I'm glad you like everything :-). I had to figure out what stamp you were talking about, lol. I actually drew that myself!
Comment: The cards and drinks have a wonderful Mickey Spllane mystery. Makes me want to go out and buy one of those fancy cocktail dresses, listen to some jazz and sip on that delicious sounding Miami Sunset and read a good mystery pretending to be the damsel in distress... And the extra cards are the best!
Comment: Elated. And laughing... yes, yes I have 4 crock pots, LOL. I hVW 8 and 2 large roasters. Must be a WI thing? Snort. I will be taking your suggestions. :) I have many sizes of crockpots as well, I use them when I can. The recipes sound fantastic, I will be trying them. Thanks so much.
Comment: This was a very lovely package. Thank you for the charms, ATC, stickers, sew bag, towel (matches my bathroom), fabric, and the adorable apron. What a nice swap and worth more than just one heart! Thanks a bunch!
Response: thank you do much for the 5<3! I'm glad you liked everything :-)
Comment: A dozen more hearts! Thank you for the great package of goodies. The charms will come in handy for some small projects I am doing. A BIG THANK YOU for the fabulous apron! Great minds do think a like as I was looking at apron patterns this morning, thinking I need to make myself one! The one you made is lovely and so colorful. And thanks for the recipes---the upside down cake drink sounds delicious!! HUGS!!
Response: thanks for the rating! I'm glad you like everything...and the drink is delish ;-)
Comment: I apologize for the late rate and thank you for your card. Several weeks before Christmas we experienced a cold freeze...we lost power and water for several days. I just slipped farther and farther behind. just spent 4 days in bed w/ the flu....still trying to catch up. thanks for your patience
Comment: OMG girl, you deserve 100 hearts! Thank you so much for the delightful and beautiful apron. What a pretty one and I will be wearing it much throughout the holidays as I prepare goodies for my family. Thank you as well for the lovely wine bottle cover. That is such a clever idea and I just love it. You're a jewel and I wish I could give you 100 hearts. I hope that you find all the days of the holiday season are merry and bright and that all your dreams come true. Thanks so much.
Response: aww thanks! I'm glad you liked everything I had a really fun time making it for you! the wine bottle holders its just fluke I just decided to make something with the scraps I had. :-)
Comment: Thank you for a great postcard. I use ricotta cheese in my lasagna. I really needed this chicken casserole recipe. My online attempts were futile. the files would not open, so I guessed. It came out ok but now I have a recipe on hand. Thanks.
Response: I hope you do make the chicken and rice, it's a fantastic and super easy recipe. It take a little longer to cook, but it's just so the flavors all meld together! Enjoy :)
Comment: Super-awesome embossed papers! I think my fav is the orange but the postmarks, buttons, and paisley are so cool too! I love how they look different on each side. Thanks for the neat black ATC too! One hundred hearts for you! ♥♥♥♥♥
Response: I'm so glad you like everything! Thanks for swapping with me :)

Comment: Thank you for the wonderful assortment of postcards! Lovely scenery from Hawaii and the Southwest and the fun cards from WI are great. The hand written recipe cards are very much appreciated and both are new recipes to me. A fun swap and a very thoughtful package. ♥
Comment: Oh Meredith, I do love these papers!! Such a great selection. And the added extras are cool, too. I LOVE what you mailed them in, I was very careful opening it because my mind was thinking, "OH wow I can use this too!" Thank you so much! ♥
Comment: Thanks so much for the cute surprise! It was nice to have a chatty note and the yummy recipe for lasagna! The blank card you sent is especially cute with the 3-headed lady on it! Reminds me of the Bronte sisters! :) Have a great week and thanks again!
Comment: Wow, thanks for the wonderful and unusual assortment of loose teas, I especially can't wait to try the Fudge Brownie. The Apple Crisp recipe is perfect for fall and the tea-themed bookmarks are so cute. A delicious package!
Comment: Wow, these teas smell incredible! Thank you so much! I once did a school report on Oklahoma, then later married someone who came from there (by way of California). I think I impressed him with my knowledge of the state bird! :-) We just visited OKC for Thanksgiving this year, and I'll admit, the state wasn't as exciting as I'd thought. I prefer Delaware. We have beaches, and Philly and NYC are pretty close, too. :-) But it's still cold here, so I'll be sipping on these teas through the winter months!
Response: teeheehee :) the lady at the P.O. said the same thing! I'm glad you understand the report on another state!
Comment: Hubby said, " Thank you very much for the breathtaking view and picture. I love beautiful scenery. I enjoy snow also, just not too much of it. Build a snowman for me, Thanks!"
Thank you for sending him a postcard!
Response: So glad he liked it! I'll make sure to build him a snowman!! Cheers!
Comment: Meredith you out did yourself with fulfilling my wishes!!! I love the crayon erasers...that's the theme in my classroom :) The FQ you chose were super nice too! I love ALL the goodies/wishes you sent. Thank you so much for such a wonderful swap !
Comment: The note cards are adorable I like them all and will use them soon. The recipes sound yummy and I will try then and blog about when I prepare some of them. I love the extras yes one can never have enough hehe. I enjoyed the note and you will get a reply from me. Hugs, Sandy
Response: Hi Sandy :) It's super exciting when I receive comments about the items I send especially when you will be able to enjoy it all! Can't wait for your next visit in my mailbox! Cheers, Mer
Comment: Thank you for the great, colorful journal :)
Response: I'm absolutely obsessed with colorful things...I bought 100 markers at a garage sale for like $3...although about 15 were dry...the rest I used on your journal :) actually I don't even think I used all of them!
Comment: I checked out The Gleasons, definitely different kind of music but very fun. One of my friends actually plays violin in an Irish punk band, which is a lot of fun to go and check out. They are called The Fighting Jamesons and based out of Virginia Beach.
Response: I'm glad you checked them out...it's my step-sister's husband's band :). I will definitely check out the Fighting Jamesons :)
Comment: Thank you soooo much for the great comment! I also loved Sirius Black, and was very disapointed with the 3rd movie:-( At that time, I had not even read the book, but was still let down. I miss Sirius!
Comment: Ew. Work. DX
You definitely should! Snowflower and the Secret Fan was especially amazing. And Banana Kiss sounds like a crappy teen romance book, but it's actually about a girl with schizophrenia and it's really interesting to look inside of her mind and see the things that she sees. <3
Yeah, I'm the same way. My friends were always into it, but something about it just rubs me the wrong way.
I'm going to be looking for that book now! That's just... amazing! rofl. :P
Thank-you, you too! :)

Response: I'm so happy you like the recipes...I'm such a picky eater I need simple ones like these. :) My fiancee compares my appetite to a child's all the time :)
