Comment: I got to thinking about the backgrounds I received. I was not happy with the workmanship of the materials. You choose to use a paper that did not lend itself to stamping. You did not stamp clearly on most of the backgrounds, the colors chosen where not my favorites, and you left lines around the stamp images. The coloring on some of the background were done poorly. I was disappointed.
Response: PLEASE READ: "Pizzaeater" never told me why I received a 3:1) I did the work to the best of my ability & 2) I turned in the material on time. I am not sure but I see that she and "the bragal are co officers of Rubber Stampers and since I was not willing to redo my cards the way the bragal dictated she also gave me a 3. Swap bot is a place for me to have fun not my life! I am writing this because I never send what I wouyld not want to receive. I have dropped out of the Rubber Stampers Group but I don't want people seeing these two 3's and thinking I send out junk!

Comment: This was a swap to create 10 ATC backgrounds using repeated stamping of small stamps or using a background stamp. The partner's likes were to be used or neutral images like leaves, stripes etc. Unacceptable stamping with MANY mistakes: missed lines, widened areas from too much pressure, faded images, over stamping from the rubber surrounding the raised image, over 10 on a single ATC!, my 10 year old saw and counted them with no prompting! She ignored the swap requirement to avoid partner's dislikes and use partner's likes on nearly all 10 ATCs using super bright colours I hate which are clearly stated on my profile, like bright/crayon green, orange and yellow and images not on my likes list like peacocks and elephants. Stamps chosen were neither small nor background stamps with most being over 1" and some much larger. One image almost filled the ATC. She marker colored the images poorly, with ink over the lines also missed spots, which pilled the paper. I offered to let her send new ones which I would rerate and I got a lot of very bad attitude. She apologized later to her credit but my willingness to rerate was gone considering she had both technical errors and ignored the swap rules big time. I'd be very careful swapping with her. ***********************************My reply to her response below: The rules of this swap were clear. If she can't meet the requirement to 'stamp cleanly' then she should not have joined. If she can't check her partner's profile, she should not have joined. If she had no small or background stamps, she should not have joined. I often give 5s even when I am not happy with what a receive but I 'see' the effort involved. Other than sending 10 ATCs, she might as well have been sending for an entirely different swap! She says she sent the same to her other partner and got a heart. Maybe that partner LIKES those colours and images so ignored the technical faults but this was a profile swap!!!! Not a 'professional stamper'? Not an average stamper, not a fair stamper, just plain NOT A STAMPER! I just taught a class for ladies who had never stamped and their work was much better. If I was just a mean person, I'd be name calling and not have specifics about the problems. I'm not stretching the truth. I also would not have included a mention of her apology. I include many specifics about her work that are FACTS; I am always an honest person which is why she is getting a 3. Most people would rather not confront you so they fudge a bit and give you a 5 anyway. She doesn't deny sending me non-profile based images and colours which even if stamped 'professionally' would be reason alone to rate a 3!
Response: Rater is too critical for an activity /website that is meant to be fun! "I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL STAMPER"! I sent identical cards to my other partner and received a 5 and heart! It is clear that "the bragal veiws this as a profession rather than a place to produce what one feels as quality work! I do my best at what ever swap I enter but stamping is not my life or profession! Judging from our correspondence she is bossy; does not have a life and her expectations are too high for a site like swapbot! Anyone who has swapped with me knows that I don't send junk and follow the rules to the best of my ability! I hate that someone would be so uptight to write such a negative comment when she stretched the truth because I refused to redo the swap because she did not like my backgrouunds, colors or my stamping! GET A LIFE "the bragal" this is a place to express yourself and have fun! If anyone wants to see my work please contact me and we can arrange a one on one.
