I wish I was in Paris digesting in front of my computer too :-) We had an earthquake this morning! At 5:41am it happened in IL but we had pretty good tremors in Indiana. That was crazy |

7 a.m. here, I should be sleeping in! Today is my day off, but the kids woke me up before they got on the bus. There's damage to the MLK bridge in St. Louis, and my husband said something woke him up. We live about an hour west of St. Louis, it must have been really widespread. There's also speculation that it caused a fire in STL. The woman, luckily got all her seven kids safely out. |

it's not military time over here either. It's just the generally accepted way of giving the time on anything even semi-official. |

Yep, that's normal way to write it: "16:10". In spoken language, I'd say "it is ten minutes past four", not "ten minutes past sixteen", though. Or that "it is five o'clock and where is that cake a colleague promised at about 16:20 as per his e-mail??" (OK, now he has it ready.) |

9:08 AM here... I normally do military time just cause I'm so used to it, lived in england for a while and that's how they did it, Japan as well and also being military for a few years will do that to ya! |
