Partners are still auto-assigned, sorted, and distributed by the computer. Coordinators simply have to initiate that process by clicking on the "assign partners" link within one week of the signup deadline. You can read more info about that change on the blog here. Rachel |

I think everything is looking great! I love all the new features, and especially that little mascot logo- too cute! Two minor concerns:
Thanks R&T for your labor of love! ♥ |

I agree on the sign-up date ordering. It would be particularly useful for anyone who has opted not to get reminders, as they could see at a glance which swaps needed an urgent decision. I have it set for reminders and I only have 2 watched swaps, so it's not really a problem for me. :-) |

a couple of questions...maybe one has been answered already. How do we see who our partners are in a swap once they've been assigned? I am ready to send a swap out, but don't know to whom and where! @ spinjenny... how does one sign up to get reminders? I keep seeing people say that they get swap bot email reminders, but don't know how to do that. |

I think the thread below should be made sticky? Where the heck are my swap options??? Susi, click on the link, that should answer your question. By the way, i like the new layout of the site!! :) |

What kind of reminders do you mean, Susi? Any of those you have under "Edit profile - Preferences"? If you mean that you don't get reminders even when you are in a swap, you just have a "wrong" e-mail address, I'm afraid. (I, too, want my bullets back! And what happened to #### headers?) |

I was browsing swaps and a user with user name consisting only of numbers caught my eye. When I clicked on that user name, I got "There has been an error. Oops." It can not be possible that a person who is hosting a swap is deleted, can it? |

One more thing... while already watching a swap, a "watch this swap" link is still available. It doesn't do anything horrible, though, as far as I understand. I clicked on it three times total but had that swap watched only once (one "unwatch" and it was removed). |

Or try the person who started this thread... |

That was a strange one pahasiga. Never see that happen before. It is a good thing that I check too see if I have a message everyday. I miss the feature were it shows we have a message there waiting. |

I have an AOL email and I've starting getting alerts again, which aol members didn't receive before, and it was from swapbot admin and not sent from an individual. Is this something that was fixed or does it have to do with the new server? It's cool either way. |

I have that problem with the "Oops, there has been an error." message. :o( I was watching a Chinese Take Out Box swap, and whenever I clicked on the link, I got that message. :o( I finally "unwatched" the swap because I figured it didn't exist anymore. |

I have an invitation to a group here. I can neither accept nor decline it. I have tried both on Firefox and on Internet Explorer. Now I am being plagued by the join-up message each time I log in. I do hate it when people insist on mucking around with something that works and come up with something new that does not work! I especially hate it when ads are imposed. Can you not at least provide a paid membership that gives a fully functioning site without the ads? |

I'm really happy now that I understand how to navigate. The ads don't bother me, they are just a fact of life. |

I just decided that I don't like the way the ratings are now presented! :P I used to, when checking someone with less-than-perfect rating, do a search for "gave a rating of: 3" and the same for 1 (to see what was the matter), but now I will need to browse through all 1s and 3s that happen to be on the page no matter in which context. :S Another thing: would it not be possible to do so that these @ would not format when in links? Like underscores that format normal text but are as underscores when inside links? |

I have encounter two errors/bugs on this site.

I've been thinking the same as pahasiga about searching ratings being much more difficult now, particularly when the swapper has been in a lot of swaps. |

Little unimportant thing... The buttons for "Google Search" and "Login" lost their images, but still display the text in the box and function properly (its just not as pretty) I'm using Firefox 3.0, so if they're there for everyone else, please ignore! |

I've noticed a few things, which I'm wondering are as a result of the changes... The profile page of 07251987 (one of the people who participated in my lovely postage swap) does not show up. I've refreshed over + over, but keep getting the following message: There has been an error. Oops. Also, the profile page of Barbara (another person who participated in my lovely postage swap) shows a message saying she has been fully suspended. How can this be possible when she has a 5.0 Overall rating, and only positive comments on her profile? Am I missing something here? |

I've got the same problem as kittymui ... a group invitation I cannot decline. It's been there for days now. |

@Blueness being fully suspended does not depend on ratings. She could have had it as second account against rules, or be an underage swapper. |

I had the group invite problem too. I ended up accepting the invite then immediately dropping which worked fine. I just downloaded Firefox but still can't see profile formatting and I've been refreshing and refreshing! I thought it worked on Firefox? |

I have Firefox both here and at work and formatting does not show normally, I think it is a general problem after changes. |

Hi guys. Thank you very much for all of your help and for letting us know about the problems and glitches you are encountering. It really is appreciated and important in order to get this site running smoothly. Last week was very hectic for us and we were not able to work on Swap-bot as much as we had intended, but we are getting down to business today! We should have many of the issue fixed soon. I am sorry for any inconvenience and hopefully we can get everything worked out this weekend. Thanks again for your feedback, Rachel |
