Could we have a choice as a group founder to join group swaps or not.I would like to be able to set up swaps for my members, but still have the choice not to participate.I know we can set up officers, but if they don't have time to do the swap, then they wouldn't be able to set them up.Is there any chance this could be a possibility?

Thanks for all your hard work.

hurray!!! :D

my yellow swap info box is now in the upper right hand corner where it should be, and my watchlist is in order by sign up date (soooo happy about that one)!!!

Thanks Rachel and Travis and Crusher!!! (I'm sure he's helping, right?)

I really like the new rating display!

Mojo 07/7/2008

I love everything, it's so funky!

Just a few things...

As you've just left the top few ratings on the profile pages (I'm not sure how many are there lol but there's a link to the rest...) would it be possible to do the same with the comments section? Just have the most recent comments there.

Also, I posted another thread about this, but would it be possible to make the icons bigger? Like 100px? Because they're tiny at the moment and kinda hard to see what some of them are.

Thanks soooooooo much R+T, you rock! Thanks for all the brilliant changes and keeping sb going! :)

Amandalee 07/7/2008

I love how you see the breakdown for the ratings now! Awesome job, Thanks!

pgk 07/8/2008

Not sure if this has been pondered, but here goes...

When members are signing up for swaps and they have less than the required rating, could there be some sort of block? For example: I am hosting a swap where I require a 5 rating and at the very last moment, someone comes in, signs up and has less than a 5 rating. I then have to go to their profile, check things out (I don't have time to pm and wait for any kind of info. as to why it's lower than a 5) so I have to ban her. I hate doing it, but it's not fair to the others that have signed up.

I have wondered whether "New Message Received" notification could be a bit more informative, like telling from whom and what the subject is... other notifications do tell what swap has assigned partners or which group has a new announcement, for example. (Of course, private messages are all in one place so it is not exactly necessary, but I often feel I'd like to know how urgent the message is.)

I'm currently annoyed at my watchlist what reminded me of a swap starting in 7 days - the swap has been canceled but I cannot un-watch it! Will it stay on my dashboard forever or will it automatically disappear when sign-up day has passed?

alifromourpatch 07/13/2008

I too have a cancelled swap that I can not remove from my watched swap list.......

dulcimer 07/14/2008

I am having difficulty changing my profile picture.

howunremarkable 07/14/2008

I'm also having the watched swap list issue...

eor1122 07/15/2008

I'm having the same problem with a swap that I was watching that was canceled.

I get this error message:

There has been an error. Oops.

I love the "Oops"

and on the 'tab' it says "Oh no! an error :( "

so cute...lol

Something is gettin me booted all the time http://optimizedby.rmxads.com/st%3Fad_type

LINDA50 07/18/2008

this comes up and kicks me to a gateway search page over and over again.

LINDA50 07/18/2008

The page loads to fast for me to find the contact admin button.

Muriel 07/19/2008

I am having problems when typing certain letters. å, ä, och ö. the last three letters in the swedish alphabet. Never was a problem before the changes.

Muriel 07/19/2008

See it looks weird!

spinjenny 07/19/2008

Linda, I googled for the domain you mentioned, and that company is involved in spyware which inserts ads which shouldn't be there into innocent webpages. If you have not recently run a spyware detector like Spybot, AdAware or any spyware stuff in your antivirus program, I suggest you do so. In particular, look out for anything by rmxads or yieldmanager (that gets mentioned in some of the web pages about it).

Muriel, I've noticed similar problems in other posts. The UK pound sign is showing but preceded by an Ã, giving £ which looks as though it is trying to say it is an Australian or Austrian pound, which is ridiculous. It seems to be any of the characters which are not on a standard US keyboard, or ones that usually need to be entered with Alt+.

racheljohnson 07/19/2008

Hi.

We have been doing some work this weekend and a few things have been fixed. You should now no longer see swaps on your Watchlist which have been canceled by the coordinator before the sign up deadline. Also, Profile comments have now been paginated. The most recent ten comments are shown on everyone's profile pages, and you can click through to view all comments on their own page - kinda like how ratings are now displayed.

We are still working on all of the markdown and special character formatting...

Happy swapping,

Rachel

Thanks for those fixes, R&T. I don't know if it is just my browser (IE7 on XP), but the text on the Forums Info page is huge now ....

magicjessnrach 07/19/2008

Awesome work :D

spinjenny 07/19/2008

I checked with a friend using Firefox and it isn't happening for her. Here is part of a screen shot to give you the idea ...

ForumsInfo

marzipan 07/19/2008

Yep ~ mine's like that too ......

spinjenny 07/19/2008

It's not a major problem, but it makes it harder to take in the information.

pahasiga 07/19/2008

I have firefox and the text is smaller starting with More Info for New Users. All text is in bold though, and I'm not sure it makes it easy to read - would be better, I guess, if only headers were bold.
