Hmm, I don't wear them either but I always thought that a g-string and thong were the same thing. |

actually they are not the same.....a g-string is just that.....just a string between the cheeks.....a thong......will be 1/2 inch or wider between the cheeks..... |

I'm gonna need to see a picture of you in the undies, Chappykat. Then I can make an informed decision. |

hahaha- kimbeewa, you are bad!;P yep, Proud Nana is right, a g-string would look like a T in the back, a single string straight up. A thong would look like a Y sorta, that's the only way I can think of to describe it!;P |

Not that I wear them! |

When I was a girl, thongs were things you wore on your feet. A G string was something you strung in your guitar. If either were near my bottom it meant that I just got a swift kick or turned my back on someone playing a truly ripping version of All Along the Watchtower. |

LMAO PostMuse!!! I thought they would be uncomfortable, but I had a friend that nagged me until I bought a pair (the fabric was SO pretty), after wearing them for a day, I went out and got a whole wardrobe of them. I have this type of butt that sorta sucks my undies between my cheeks and its a helluva lot more comfy having 1/2" or so of fabric there than the whole back of the pantie!!! I was constantly fishing them out, like a 6yr old adjusting herself lol. |

I have always thought of a g-string as underwear, more or less. A thong is the bottom part of a bathing suit? |

I have never really wondered because I know I would be pulling either one of them out of places they shouldn't be all day long if I wore them. |

this kinda reminds me of the khakis/chinos bit on "Mad About You". (not all khakis are chinos, not all chinos are khaki) |

A G-string and a thong?
I have to admit I don't go know. My butt can't take that kinda wear:-) so the little pieces of wanna be undies in my lingerie drawer don't get worn. Pretty to look at but that about it.
I"m in an undies swap and I went to Victoria Secrets and bought undies per my partners request...or so I thought. Now I'm second guessing cause I don't know if there is a difference between the two.
You folks who wear them chime in so I can figure if I need to make another trip to Vicky Sees.
Thanks
