@7bar7 funny enough, that's what they call them in Brazil, *"fil dental" (I may be spelling that wrong, I don't have my Portuguese spellcheck, aka my husband, here with me right now!)

Yeah a lot of people call them thar stringers, Butt Floss. A friend from New Zealand came to stay with me and while here we had a little convo on Cotton Candy. He called it Candy Floss which made me fall to the floor laughing. Of course my dirty mind went right to edible undies and combine that with cotton candy, butt floss and I was inconsolable belly laughing. He was too as I made up joke after joke comparing the flosses(lol)

I took out my measuring tape and the flossy strip in the back of the pairs is 1/2" wide with a little piece of fabric "Y" shaped at the top. So yea! I got the right stuff per my partners likes. Just to be safe I'm sending her the gift receipt so she may return for exchange if she so wishes.
