Hey, at least your first mishap was car vs. tree instead of car vs. car! |

Well, mom has been backing her car into the garage everyday for over 30 years... sometimes 2-3times a day with no mishaps. Last week, she missed the garage opening by about 8" and backing into the cement wall! giggle So remember, it can happen to even the most experienced drivers! There was no damage on mom's car... just a scuff mark on the bumper. |

Well, when we just had got our car, it, for some reasons it tended to scratch itself on trees, corners and drain-pipes, too... Now it has started to behave better. :} |

LOL pahasiga!! I refuse to drive my husbands car now as he moans so much about scratching the precious wheel trims If I'm parallel parking it. |

Oh my, scratching wheel trims is just something we both ignore. And we also have a dent from last accident (about 2.5 years ago) non-repaired - it does not really trouble anyone, except maybe potentional thieves. |

dents & scratches don't bother me either, I had a 30 yr old Morris Minor Traveller for years that you could see the ground through the rust holes and the window trims had grass & moss growing in them!! can you guess that my husband didn't like driving this car?!! |

We had moss, too, but the boyfriend of a friend scratched it off. He was just jealous, I say! I would probably mind if it were rusting, though. I wouldn't want to find out one day that the car I'm driving consist mostly of paint that's keeping rust together and that I am in danger to step through the bottom. :} |

Oh lisaj, like you REALLY needed to deal with this, huh? :-O I'm glad your hubby took it well; when my sister was first driving, she backed out of the garage crookedly, and pushed one of the corners of the garage right up in the air! One of the neighbor ladies saw it happen, and walked across the street with big glasses of wine for my mom and dad as a condolence - LOL! Hope it's not too expensive to repair your car! |

that's ok, these things happen! I backed my ex's car into our front gate once! didn't hurt the car but the gate still has the dent! |

Well, hubby wanted me to move the car so when he comes home he can put the van near the garage. So i thought i'd park the car in the front garden instead of on the road. Unfortunately, i backed into a tree! Now theres a hole in the light! Hubby will be home and i'll have to tell him the news.
I passed my driving test in Jan this year, i don't think thats too bad going for my first mishap!
Wish me luck!
