Hi all, I was wondering if I could send tea (it's not loose tea, but those tea bags in a paper-wrapping) to Australia? I read somewhere that it was not possible to send tea to Australia, unless they are put in zipper bags or so?

Not sure how or what, but I'd like to know that, thank you :)!

Not positive, but I believe that tea is not allowed into Australia in any shape or form.

Hmm I looked up (austrialian post office / guide) .. it says .. you can send food-stuff if they are well packed .. but not sure if tea is included .. sigh .. hehe.

I really hope someone can help me out.

you can send tea if the contents of the tea are included in the tea bag wrapping so quarantine can open the package and read the packaging of the tea bags if they wish.

Ah, with the date of expiring and such.

Aww, too bad, then I'll take the tea out of my Australian swap .. hehe.
