Well you have all shamed me into getting more organised. So I have rummaged in dh's office and found some folders and have printed out all the swap descriptions that I have signed up for.

I have thrown these on top of the existing printouts for the swaps I am in the corner of my craft room.

Well it is a start, yes????

I'm happy to share my spreadsheet. Anyone interested, please pm me your email address and I will send it right over.

I use the calender function on my computer to help me. I use different colors to denote Swap Deadline/ # partners / and then when I sent. I find that pretty helpful cause I can just bring up the program and see when things are due that month. For me it helps to see it all spread out on a whole month instead of in columns like on here.

That being said I also use the dashboard a lot as well.

I use a simple MS Word template to keep track of mine along with my Windows calender. I set up reminders for my swaps a few days before the due date so I can get everything packaged and ready to go. I also use the Dashboard to look quickly at what's coming up.

I truly think I am Anal Retentive. I use my computer calender w/reminders set a week in advance, a spreadsheet, AND an MS document. All color coded (of course). However, my problem seems to be keeping track of "Tags". I have those on my other items, it is the actual "tag" from swap-bot that I am seeming to lose track of. Any suggestions?? One minute it's there, and a while later~it is 3 or 4 pages back!!

I just joined a couple of weeks ago, and have already found out that you need to be organized, or you'll pretty much die.

I just use my profile to track everything - mainly because I'm more interested than tags, rather than swaps.

And I'm lazy, and I'll organize everything one day. Then the next day, I wont want to do it anymore. Bahaha.

dBowie, you could copy the web address of the tag thread into the spreadsheet or wherever you keep your tag info, then at least you can always find it no matter how far the thread sinks!

Oh, that's a GREAT idea @GeorgeBee I will try that. Thanks!! thinks "Duh" why didn't I think of that :)
