Hello all. I hate to ask for an angel for myself but this was a swap I organized and my partner flaked on me. I sent 3 messages and she kept replying that it had been sent even though a month has passed since the swap send-by date. She didn't have really great English skills and when I kept mentioning "do you want to resend?" she just didn't get it. I went ahead and rated her a 1, since she hasn't logged on in about a week.

Anyway it always seems that I get flaked on in the swaps that I organize. If anyone could angel for me that would be amazing, I was really looking forward to getting this swap.

@dreamrains can I ask where the sender is from (what country she lives in, I mean)? I only ask because, though it is rare, I know there are certain countries that I have swapped with that do take well over a month for packages to arrive. Spain has ben having problems with their postal system recently, and...is it Singapore or Malaysia- well, one of them always takes well over a month from my experience going either way (sending or receiving).

sorry @dreamrains I realized after the fact that you list her name, and I checked her profile- she's in Brazil, which I also know from personal experience (my husband's family lives there) has unpredictable and usually slow post.My mil has sent our daughters gifts that took 6-8 weeks to arrrive. I also looked at the swap, and saw she says she sent on Aug.31. If you don't mind waiting until the end of this month (Oct. 31), if it still hasn't arrived, I'll be more than happy to angel for you. I agree, mail to and from Brazil can take ages. I sent a swap to Brazil last year that took 4 months to get there - airmail.

Ooooh, I am glad to hear this! I have been waiting and waiting to get rated on a package to Brazil that was sent well over a month ago. My swap partner said not to worry about it, and I guess she's right! So glad to hear it could still arrive.

Holy cow i did NOT know that it took that long... hmm. I took the 1 back and decided I will wait a little longer.. My partner got super flustered and practically deleted her account though.. It's so hard when people don't speak really good english. _

Ok she's definitely not re-sending or didn't send in the first place. She deleted her profile and stopped replying to my PMs...
