I just wanted to say that @zoobekka is one heck of a gal!

My 14-year-old daughter Bailey wanted so badly to participate in the Twilight ATCs swap, but obviously because of her age, she couldn't. So I posted a comment asking if anyone would be willing to swap with her privately.

Well, zoobekka and GypsyDyann both pm'd me and said they'd be willing to swap with Bailey.

Bailey was thrilled!

Well, yesterday, this is what Bailey looked like when she got @zoobekka s cards in the mail.

Bailey was so happy and it was an extra nice surprise, because, you see, Bailey had missed 4 1/2 days of school. She'd been sick with a bad sinus infection, and was in the middle of doing her make-up homework when zoobekka's cards came.

It was just the pick-me-up that Bailey needed to motivate her to finish her make-up homework. She was so excited to get the cards, that after she showed everyone in the house (including her disinterested older brother!), she had to call her two best friends and tell them all about it! Then she taped zoobekka's ATCs (in their baggies of course) to her bedroom door.

You just can't beat seeing a smile like that, you know?

And I also wanted to say that @GypsyDyann couldn't be cooler! :) Bailey hasn't gotten GypsyDyann's cards yet, but I'm sure that she is going to love them too!

SO THANK YOU TO GREAT SWAPPERS LIKE @ZOOBEKKA AND @GYPSYDYANN FOR BEING WILLING TO MAKE A TEENAGE GIRL SMILE!!

great photo of your daughter and it's nice to know that there are still teenagers in this world today, who are happy with 'just some 2,5x3,5 paper' :-)

She was absolutely estatic about those cards, let me tell you! And since we often hear of the "bad swappers" and all the complaint threads, I thought it would be nice to share some good for once! :)

What was the theme? I think I recognize the pic, but being an old fart, I'm probably way off base. Inquiring minds need to know...

@runswithscizzors the theme was the Twilight series of books. They are among my daughter's favourites!

Yep, I'm bumping again! I just think that it is worthy of some attention when there are good swappers on Swapbot. Not only that, but many threads are so full of negative energy, I think that once in a while, some positive energy really needs to be injected just for balance!

So, thanks again to Zoobekka for making my Bailey smile!! :)

YOUR DAUGHTER IS A SWEETHEART! She is so cute! Yes I'll be sending her some cards SOON---as I told you I am having a Boutique style Crafts Sale at a friends house this weekend and have been really involved in this for a couple weeks! Lots of stuff to make and getting set up took 2 days! Anyway soon as this is over I'll make her cards and should have them into the mail sometime this week! And for the "wonderers" the Theme is TWILIGHT ATC, and the swap for regular Swapbotters is still open until the last sign up day October 29th. Just click on my name and go to my profile and you can access the swap from there if you are interested! I'm also doing on OZ'S FLYING MONKEYS ATC

GypsyDyann, oh dearie, I am not worried at all one bit!! I know you're sending them--we agreed November anyway, remember? LOL! :) And thanks for the compliment. I think Bailey is one pretty gal. (she's taller than me now!! And I'd kill for her gorgeous hair!) Thanks for swapping with her Dyann, I really appreciate it! :)

That is so awesome, and it was totally my pleasure to make those cards for Bailey, its awesome to share my love of All things Twilight with the world, and that was so sweet of you to post this I am really touched by it!

No problem Rebekka! I think that good swappers need more recognition than the bad ones do, but the bad ones seem to get all the air space! So I wanted to be sure that you and GypsyDyann got the props for being so nice! {{hugs}}

I just realized that I forgot to show you this: And here's Bailey with her wonderful Twilight cards from GypsyDyann
