I have to agree with you in all the abrev's in here. Maybe some well seasoned members could put up a sort of dictionary of all these little slogans, notes or whatever you want to call them with descriptions? Sure would help the new ones out alot! THANKS! Lynn

I know there is a beginner Dotee swap going on right now. An ATC is a baseball card sized card that you make art on - I don't know who can tell you "how" to make one. Go on flickr.com and search for these items to get a good idea on what they look like. An inchie is a 1 inch x 1 inch version of an ATC, or I've seen them on 1x1 canvas too. There are lots of books and websites on how to make stuffies/plushies. I prefer amigurumi stuffies (crocheted, sometimes knitted), but in essence they are little sewn dolls that you can make any way you choose.

So many of these things are open to interpretation, its hard to tell you "how" to make them. Can you knit or crochet? I can give you amigurumi patterns. Here is one way to make stuffies. Here is a tutorial on how to make felt stuffies.

@whowillloveme stuffies & plushies are handmade stuffed animals (plush animals). Usually these terms refrer to sewn creations rather than knitted etc., as Amigurumi (crocheted stuffies) are becoming more and more popular as their own category. Felties refer to plushies that are either made of felt of needle felted (in case that comes up). And, from what I gather inchies are constructed very much like ATCs only they measure one inch by one inch instead of being trading card sized. hope that helps...
