not every system displays those HTML entities. For some reason, perhaps font related, perhaps browser related, when you type in the hearts entity, all I see is |

Hmmmm.... so how do you do the heart mediatinker?

I know my Firefox browser does not read the heart symbol, but I thought it had something to do with a plug-in.

I can type the entity in and you can see it. But in Firefox, no love on the viewing side.

(It's OK. I've never been fond of ♥ = 'love' so this just keeps me from getting irritated. I also dislike ur for 'your' and cu for 'see you' I'm old.)

I don't like the SMS abbreviations at all, but the little graphics are fun. I admit to liking the animated smileys a bit, too, especially the smiley with the whip.
