Well, if I were you, I would read the first post in the other tag games, to see how they're set up. As long as you give credit to the person, I think it's okay! And I, personally, would love to have a game with updating requirements and a forfeit if not updated. It's your game, so if you list it as a requirement for playing, then it's allowed! I would like it if you would add a requirement to post a comment on someone's profile after you have received from them. It's only polite, first of all, and it lets others know that they sent out their swaps so other people will feel good about tagging them. Is there any way to keep track of who is sending and who isn't so that forum swap flakers are caught sooner rather than later? Just a thought. |

You could add a requirement that the tagged and the tagger need to list the tag and the date on their own profiles, as a lot of people do already. It would then be easy for a partner to check it is there and to call them out if not, and if they are listed properly, people considering tagging someone could see how fast their forum swaps were being sent out. |

Great input - thanks! I'm going to wait for a day to see all the other good info that streams in, then I'll try to put something together. I'm thinking of another cheap postage PIB sort of thing. Seems like there's always room for more than one of these :) |

Hi everyone - Are there any requirements I need to know about starting a new forum tag game (either stated or understood). Besides starting the thread, are there other things like administrative duties - oh, I do hate stuff like that :)
Are there any rules that the game has to follow? I want to start another thread similar to the ones already here, but with updating requirements and a forfeit if you don't update. Is that allowed?
Also, what's the etiquette for "copying" game ideas?
Thanks!
