Hi! Another newbie question.

Say, swap date is October 8 and I sent my mail September 26 and the PO said that it will reach its destination in a week's time but my package arrived say, 4 weeks later, would that mean that I missed the swap date? And would that be taken against me if parcel is late even if I sent it before the swap date? Or would my partners take it into consideration since I posted in the swap discussion thread that I already sent out my mail to my partners?

The Swap Date is a "send by" date, not a "must be received by" date. Your partner should not give you trouble about a case like your example (though some people do, which is rather sad).
