Yay! I've been wanting to get in on a YGM, and I love food, especially sweets! Count me in :)

That's a good idea... Those who needs extra lbs will be among sending-and-receiving, and those who just cannot do without buying sweets but doesn't need extra lbs, will get her need satisfied and send extra lbs away to these who need them, i.e. be only sending. Yeah, cool.

I haven't been in any YGM before because I have been afraid of such a long-term commitment - I'm not sure that I would be able to send something more than a postcard every week (and just a postcard would be too cheap, wouldn't it?). But to buy chocolate every week - well I do it almost everyday anyway...

AndreaSmondria, I would so join. But unfortunately, I'm one of those girls who has about 20-40 pounds she could give you since you need to gain it! I swear, some people. All about I need to gain weight. Well I need to lose it. Someone needs to come up with a fat transplant surgery! Cuz I got enough to go around!! ~lol~

Q. Dollar amount on the candy?

A. i dont think theres a need for a dollar amount but it can be as little as say two bars or two packages of candy and as big as you like.

Q. the option to ask for a little something instead of sweets, if your weight conscience,BUt still want to send candy? * I personally dont have a problem with it. as well it would be two small items or more if you wish to send more. BUt i want to make sure that this is ok with everyone else participating.

Q. will there be a cap at how many people? * Seeing as this is my first running of a YGM i would like to make the first run with probably no more than 30 people just to get the hang of it than if it goes smoothly i would open it up to more.

Q. Who is this open too? * This would also be international because i love foreign sweets

Now i need your opinion on this one. i was thinking " if theres only one a month than it takes forever" so i was thinkin' over having two. but than would it be better to draw every two week? two at the one time? or just have one a month?

I agree Andrea, if we have 30 people, 1 a month could mean almost 3 years before my name comes up! Since candy is so quick and easy to get I think 2 per month would be much better. Drawing 2 names once a month would mean less work for you, but drawing 1 every two weeks would give each winner their own "time to shine". Whichever way you prefer!

im going to go with two a month one every two weeks. so number 1 will announced april 1st and number two april 15th and so on...

Crystal got it perfectly right, a ygm or you've got mail is simply a tag where one person wins and everyone sends to that person.
