I got approved for my first swap here. Yay!

We used our new blender to make Snickers, Oreo & Heath blasts/blizzards. A LOT cheapr and I think it tastes better. Saved money & I got to eat something chocolately yummy. What more could a girl want!?

Today I'm happy because I'm happy today!

Hm, let's investigate it...

I think it started yesterday, when I went with children to seek for sea (we moved here a week ago only). We walked by a little river here. One day I had wondered that if I bought a dinghy, would it be possible and allowed to row on it; during our walk we saw a mother with two children doing exactly that so now I know what I'll buy before next summer for sure.

Sea was nice and sand was crunchy, but became clear that it is a bit too far for walking (at least with children and that way - for another way, I'll need a map and compass or risk getting lost in forest), though, so I called my husband to come by car and save us. :} At home I sent children to play out while I was preparing lunch - now that was the main reason we wanted something with a yard/garden of its own - cannot send small children out on their own in the city where on two sides of the house there are other apartment houses and on other two sides parking lots, right?

And in the afternoon I sent them out again, to dig in a place in our garden-to-be that has no grass, only sand; their digging ended with conclusion that it is the right kind of sand for a sandbox.

And then today I woke at 6 PM to thunder and showers and was absurdly happy again. Maybe because I had made my children to do all these things yesterday that I would not have been able to do today. And it is still warm, now rain is over, children can again go and play outside in afternoon when they are back from school. I drove my husband to train because he was almost late and then I shopeed a bit - bought a flower bush, a broom (never had a broom of my own before) and some more knick-knack from a shop that looks like it has stayed the same for 30 years (like, brooms, hammers, fresh potatoes, toy cars, embroidering floss, toilet brushes, paint and thermometers).

I'm caught up on my swaps...nearly all my housework is done, just a few errands to run today, and I start a new job tomorrow for a good client of mine.

The sun is shining, I have a great idea for a halloween dotee doll and I got to talk to my mom this morning. :o)

I found a lady on freecycle giving away 2 free Happy Bunny posters in great condition! Not to mention my first wonderful day of mail since joining swapbot, have already blogged this elsewhere and not up to repeating myself at the moment :/

My dad and I went for a walk, and as soon as we got back, but not before, it started a lovely rain, which we need.

I mailed out a dotee this afternoon to someone who wanted one and this evening I logged on here and found a huge thankyou note from someone in the quilting group for some templates and fabric I had sent her way.

My husband told me I'm getting fat, yahoo!!

Explanation...I'm pregnant and have lost 30 pounds in four months so, this is good news!

I went to the post office and mailed a bunch of swaps then I came home to a big package on my door ( a tag from dragonfly) and it it just fantastic.I also got three other swaps that were all 5's with hearts. I am so excited. Nice dotee. i love the color!

Not so happy today, but I'm grateful for all Gods blessings anyway....been really missing my husband, remembering 911 and realizing that the only person I spent that day with is gone...it's made me sad.

I'm happy today because I'm sure I've sold some of my handmade toys..in the vicinity of over 300$..(that's for 5 of them).

I've been happily enjoying my last hours of being in my 30's today!

I'm happy because I had my blood test at the oncologists today and he said that my counts are up a little and it looks like I'll be able to get chemo next week!

Thanks for the hugs....I just had a bad day yesterday, bound to happen when I least expect it. Today is better...I walked to the library in a warm drizzle, I passed a yard full of blooming sunflowers...so gorgeous with the rain dripping off them! I went to the craft store this morning and found alot of things in the 70% off bin, which meant I could actually buy them instead of just wishing I could :) I'm gonna craft all weekend, well, gotta work a bit, but not much. All in all, I gotta love life.

I got a letter from one of my daughters and a hug from the other daughter. :-D

I'm happy today because my daughter made me laugh. She sent me a birthday card and signed it Love, Kathryn Martin. SO silly so formal. She's almost 19. She's my blonde girl for sure LOL!
