Description:

The challenge for this swap will be to crochet something very tiny - 1 inch crocheted charms, that your partners can use for attaching to a bracelet or a necklace. You will have 2 partners and will make 3 charms to each (6 totally.) Because of the size, cotton embroidery floss works really well for this project. And embroidery floss comes in so many colors!
Charms can be the same, but in different good looking together colors, or they can be different. They can be crocheted beads, carrots, smileys, animals, flowers(not flat though- we want some dimention). Let's play!

Another way to make very small things -- search for tiny crochet on ravelry, find a pattern, then use fingering yarn with a 2mm crochet hook -- this will make a tiny pattern mini.

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#craft=crochet&query=miniature&view=captioned_thumbs&availability=free&sort=best A bunch of miniature patterns. Remember you can make them smaller by using fingering yarn and a small hook, rather than worsted weight....

SORRY I had to drop this swap. My boss called me on Friday, and I had to be in California on Monday. I hope you do this again, or if you'd like a private swap...

Saulute 10/18/2011 #

Yes, of course. Let's do a private one.
