Description:

There are so many officers and there are so many members. 2012 Is also a new Year. Let us start this new year with a challenge. Nothing can go wrong in this one!!

Create one card for your partner. An envelope for this card is part of this swap.

The challenge

Multiple layers

As a challenge more than two layers of patterned paper or cardstock is required.

Form of the layers

All cards have the parts as in the sketch above. Feel free to play with the different parts, but all the parts must be on the card (e.g. vertically, horizontally, edges, instead of circle a round paper flower, etc.). That is the challenge! The forms and the card itself may have any kind of edges (scalloped, etc.).

Embellishment

There must be at least one embellishment added. How many embellishment is up to the cardmaker.

Also place a sentiment on the front of the card.

Please leave the inside of the card blank, so your partner can use the card.

Do not just use copy paper or printer paper; this is too thin to layer a handmade card.

Don't forget to write/stamp your name on the back of your handmade card:)!

Have a good time and enjoy the swap.

This is a reliable group, but I will angel if necessary.

This swap can be edited until 48 hours before partner assignment. You may want to check and see if any changes are made. Major changes are not expected.

Questions??? Leave your questions here under or send me a pm.

I'm sorry, but I am having trouble understanding the "Form of the layers" part. Please clarify what you mean when you said that our cards need to have the same stuff as the sketch above?

Thank you ladies for your participation. I hope more watchers will join us. I plan to coordinate some interesting card swaps. It is a trial and if you participate, it will stimulate me to be creative in ideas for card swaps. Let me know if you have an idea!!!

Once again: watchers, please join and let's have fun. Let us make this group lively:-)

"Form of the layers" >>> card base, three rectangles (one large, one medium size, one small), oval, two circles. You can play with the sizes, the layers, the image, the greeting, etc. Be sure that the forms are on the card. You decide the sizes, how to layer and which embellishment. Eg. an image is not a must, but be creative to replace.

Good question, dabellaraquella; let me know if it is clear.

Yes thankyou. I wrote it all down and I am about to begin my work!
