Did you ever want to make someone's fondest gift wish come true in a handmade swap? If so, this is your swap!

You will have one partner and you will study their profile carefully to discover their fondest handmade desire.

Do they want an art doll made by a real doll artist? Do they want a painting to match their living room decor? Do they want to learn embossing from a real pro? Maybe they want a beautiful crystal Jewelry set to match their eyes.

You will be making this wish come true. It may take a bit of trouble and work but this, after all, the Above and Beyond group, right? So let's take it up a notch!

This is not the swap where a set off postcards will suffice. If you are doing a papercraft it needs to be at least a stuffed mini envelope book or journal completely done

I really really want to join this but I am afraid I will get someone that I don't have a CLUE on how to make what they want...... any suggestions or comments?

hmmm...let's have everyone involved do a little list of stuff you really want, then. Let's have you list 5-10 things that you want really bad so your partner can have a very good way to find something they make.

Here's my fondest handmade desires, to give you an idea! I may add a few more things as I think of them. 1. a whole bunch, at least 3 sheets, of address labels, two of the sets with my swap name "Amigirl" at the top, and one set with my actual name at the top of the address. I really need these!
2. Business cards! Someone made me some with the picture I have on my profile of a bunch of my handmade amis and I used them up! they were awesome.
3. I would love someone to give me tatting supplies (I think it involves a shuttle and tatting fiber) and an on-line tutorial (you could just direct me to a tute on youtube, if there is one.
4. If you paint or draw, I'd love a large illustration or painting for my office. At least 8x10, colorful, with fantasy character(s), like maybe a beautiful fairy or something? Not a unicorn, though.
5. Handmade soaps! I love nice soaps, really good citrus scents are my fave.
