Also, is it an international swap? the send date might need to be moved up if so.

What are the requirements? Does the face have to be crotched or can it have button eyes or similar?? Does it have to have a tail or hanger? I know these are simple questions but I want to make sure.

What is the requirement about the ratings?

Thought of one more ~ What is the size requirements? How big or small do they need to be??

From my experience, Dotee dolls are small enough to hold in your hand (4-6"), plus have a tail and a hanger.

Faces can usually be made any way you like - I have seen them made from with painted clay or fabric or buttons, charms, embroidered on felt or other fabric, painted directly on the body fabric, beaded, stamped, etc., so crocheted should also qualify.

Hope this helps. However, having said all of the above, it is happydollmaker's swap, so she may have different requirements.

I'm back! I had to opt out since I had too many swaps I wanted to be in at the same time and had reached my maximum of 5 swaps. Sort of a pain but at least I found my way back to rejoin:)

I see you have a lot signed up for your swap. I hope you don't mind but because of the expense of postage and everything else for that matter I decided to do a Halloween Dotee also just for the USA and Canada. Also, the true Dotee from an Australian lady call Dot made up this precious dotee dolls with a specific look, size, face etc. They have since evolved into some really neat and cute ones, with all kinds of faces. Hope she doesn't mind us still calling them Dotees'.

I am pretty sure this one is international, but the host has not logged ins ince June 16, and is just one 1 rating away from being partially suspended.

OT- To drop from any swap , use the "Drop from swap." on the right side of the screen at the top. It is a sentence that highlights when you skim over it and is located in a box the states "Swap member options". Hope this helps.

I just signed on to swap-bot and would love to swap a Halloween Dotee with a partner. I host a lot of swaps on the HGTV board and am currently hosting a Dotee Doll swap over there. I emailed Dot to get permission before I started my swap and she gave me full approval.
