Description:

I'm sure a lot of Sharp Shooters enjoy making ATCs, so let's combine our love for photography with our love for ATCs. For this swap you will create ONE photo ATC for one partner AND send THREE ATC-sized photos that can be used in your partner's own ATC-crafting.

Here are the particulars:

1) The ATC must be traditional ATC size (2.5 inches by 3.5 inches) and must be placed on a sturdy backing.

2) The photos must be ATC size and must be printed on high quality photo paper or high quality presentation (or brochure paper). There are also some canvas printer papers that do excellent work. I've used Epson, HP and Canon photo, presentation and canvas papers for my ATCs. Given sufficient time to dry, none of these bleed when one uses glue, mod podge, crackle, etc.

3)The ATC and the ATC backgrounds must be made from your own photos.

4) If you do not have the capacity to print your own photos, we don't want you to be left out. Select 4x6 photos and cut the interesting, ATC-worthy element from it--down to 2.5 x 3.5.

Package your ATC and backgrounds securely, include a note and send them on their way.

Group rules apply. Happy Crafting!

*Swap ATC/Photo Designed by me. It honors my sister's rounds with breast cancer and the radical treatments that follow. She recently passed away after an 8-year battle and 5 diagnoses.

If your shop prints 9x13 photos, crop two photos into required size, copy them next to each other into same file with longer sides together (IrfanView and Paint can both do that), and let them print out as one 9x13 photo. Now just cut the photos apart and you have two photo ATCs!

So, the ATCs themselves should not be only photos themselves, but need to have also some embellishments?

@pahasiga thanks for your suggestion and question. Yes, the idea is to do "something more" with the photo ATC--more than just a photo glued to card stock. More or less is up to the artist/photographer.
