Description:

This swap is for:

  • All members
  • 1 small altered rolo: Height: 2 1/4" Length: 4"
  • Theme: Roughing It (Interpretation is open to artist)
  • 1 partner

Make sure you are starting with the right base. I have seen variations of the top edge of this size that include curved, straight, or with tabs. The maximum height should not be more than 2.5". A medium rolo is close to this size, but is not acceptable for this swap. Read here for more information on the different sizes.

The rolo must be sturdy. This can be accomplished by gluing multiple blanks together or starting with a cardstock base (cardstock can also be glued to base and then cut out, just be careful with those notches!).

The front of the card:
* The notches must be on the bottom.
* Fully decorate the front of the card according to the theme.
* All swaps are open to beginner's but I expect that you will put a great amount of effort into your art. This swap is not for a starting with a background and simply gluing on a few embellishments or stickers.

The back of the card:
* The notches must be at the bottom. Everyone is welcome to post their preference in the comments however it is not a requirement to meet them.
* Lightly decorate the back of the card.
* Sign the back with your username (or artist name) and name of swap. You're welcome to add any other information you like, but swap name and username/artist is required.

If you need blank rolos to start with please send me a message with your mailing details.

I will angel this swap provided you have rated your partner a 1.

If possible, I'd prefer the notches on the back of my card to be on the top. I have a spin style rolo holder.

^-^I agree with @choke I have a small size rolo rotary holder so i like the back with notches up on the top! It also has plenty of room for things to hang off, out, above the edges on the top and sides, so thats ok with me;-) BE CREATIVE!
