Description:

Here is a simple and quick recipe swap.

Send your partner 3 quick and simple recipes.

Its summer and we love to cook but it gets too hot to be standing over the stove or having the oven going. I don't know about other people but this time of year I love the simple, quick and tasty meals that requires little or no cooking. So for this swap we will share with our partner 3 recipes we enjoy making during the summer. You can make it to where the 3 recipes make a complete meal or 3 completely different dishes.

Also include a letter sharing your experiences with these recipes. Its always nice to include a personal touch. :o)

There is no size requirements for the recipe cards but please donot just write them on a piece of paper. Put them on nice recipe cards or you can decorate a 3X5 index card or if your partner likes the 6X6 (my personal favorite) then you can do that. Any type of recipe card is acceptable. They may be handwritten or typed but if written please make sure they are legible.

This swap is open to anyone within the group as long as you are in good standing - meaning no recent 1's and not behind on any other swaps.

i really like the 6x6 cards too. But dont do them if you dont want to! Ill be happy with whatever you choose.

Is there anything different about the 6x6 or is it just a decorated piece of cardstock turned into a recipe card?

well I think people decorate the 6X6 recipe cards differently.

You can use scrapbooking paper. Paste the recipe card or whatever you write the recipe on onto the paper. You can use embellishments or stickers or however you want to do it.

Some people have 6X6 books that they use as recipe books. Its a nice way to store your recipes. You don't have to do them that way. Anything is acceptable as long as they are not just written on a piece of paper.
