Description:

The November 2014 Fandom in a Mini Bag swap is Winnie-the-Pooh (& friends).

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, movies, shows, moments, stories, or any other preference you may have. All versions of Winnie-the-Pooh (classic, Disney, new, etc.) are fair game, so if you have a preference, please specify.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 5 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged to make your bag look full of goodies.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, bookmarks, address labels, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fanfic drabbles/ficlets, etc.

More specific ideas: Hundred Acre Woods map, honey, balloons, versions of the books/stories, character hats, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 quart (AT LEAST 8.5inches by 7 inches or 21.5cm by 18cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a quart in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of November and please send by the deadline (November 29)

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be fed to heffalumps and woozles!

I love Pooh Bear and Piglet, but I absolutely LOVE Eeyore! If my partner wanted to make me a bag of Eeyore only, that would be so awesome!

I echo completely what BennysMumma said! See my user icon ;-) I adore Eeyore. An Eeyore-only bag or an Eeyore-heavy bag would be amazing. I like Pooh and all his friends (Tigger's too bouncy for me, so he's low on my list, but I still love him). I would also LOVE a map of the Hundred Acre Wood (100 Aker Wood) for my home library where I'm putting up maps of different literary worlds.

I love Disney versions and Classic Pooh. I don't love the new new computer-generated versions of the characters, but I will take Eeyore in ANY FORM--even baby Eeyore. I have a HUGE Eeyore collection in a display case in my living room and am always happy to add to it, especially with unique, handcrafted things.

Don't be worried about getting me something I already have because I will still LOVE it and proudly display it. But if you definitely don't want to spend money on a repeat, please feel free to message me with any questions.

I love all the characters equally, I really don't think I could pick a favorite. I'm not a huge fan of the newer stuff that's out right now, I much prefer the original Shepard illustrations and the original Disney characters. My favorite scenes are the blustery day and when they play Pooh sticks. My favorite thing about the books is the plays on words Milne used. They are so clever and funny.

Some ideas of things I'd love: -a map of the Hundred Acre Wood @KateKintail - Your library sounds awesome!!!) -pressed pennies with characters on them -vintage ephemera -ATCs -iPhone 4 case of original Shepard drawing or map -bookmark -pen

Things I'm not so keen on: -jewellery -cosmetics -wall decals

I'd love a mix of handmade and bought. These are just suggestions, I know I will love everything! Can't wait to start putting this together once partners are assigned :)
