I have an aunt that has dementia and is back to being more like a child, and I thought it would be nice to see how many Christmas cards she could get from around the world. Remember this is just for a card to her, you will not receive anything in return other than to know how much she will smile and the times she will look over the cards.

I will be checking profiles, so you must have at least a 4.98 rating, and no recent 1's. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I will provide her address once partners are assigned, but your real partner will be my aunt ONLY!! Thanks in advance.

What would our partners rating be based on?

sherig47 12/ 4/2014 #

Do you care if thd card is religous? that is what i usually make.

But ratings...

Nice thought, but not doable! Why don't you try the forum? :o)

You could make this a swap in which you send 2 cards. 1 card to your aunt, and 1 card to your partner wishing them a happy day or something.

Another way is to send a card to your aunt, and then send an email to the partner with a picture of the card they sent your aunt.

Either way will be a pain, but at least it would be a way to get the rating correctly done.

I think that posting this in the PFs (as @lorettdog suggested), would be a wonderful idea and a lot less trouble. : ) I would be more than happy to send one if you posted in the PFs.

Paige1900 has a good idea on this swap. I've seen other swaps like this, so you have a partner to send.

Right, I just hosted a similar swap and everyone sent to one partner to be rated and then sent one card to another person who is not on swapbot. There are so many kind-hearted people here that would be glad to send to your aunt, but might be concerned about not actually sending to someone to be rated. The other person might forget and rate a 1 for not receiving anything because your swap is going to assign partners anyway.

I would send her one!

If you post this as a RAK request in the PFs, I would be happy to send her a card. (";)

I could send a card also. Any decision yet on where you will list this.

I also would love to send a card but agree that we have a partner and also send one to your Aunt.

This is my first time hosting in a long while, so just rate your partner a 5 and we will hope that they all send. I may go to the forum and start a thread there for this.
