Swap 3: Collage: Paper ephemera and more

This swap takes inspiration from scrapbooking, smash books and junk journals; some of which you may have heard of or already do. We will be using and paper and card ephemera including project life cards, journalling cards, mixed media pieces, washi tape, stickers, magazine cut outs, drawings, scribbles, book pages, and more to create a page that really does scream creativity.

Create a base using coloured paper, patterned paper, scrapbook paper, a magazine page, a book page or something else of your choice on your page.

  • Page 1: Patterns, shapes, textures. This page must have a minimum of 1 of each of these three things. For example; Pattern - a striped paper background, mosais, florals. shape - heart stickers, circles, squares, triangles. texture - washi tape, tissue or book paper, ink, paper layers

Examples! Here, here, Here

  • Page 2: A pocket or envelope. Create a mini envelope to stick on your page, make your page into an envelope or pocket itself, create a pocket with layers on your page, whatever you can come up with. Your page must either BE the pocket or envelope, or have a minimum of 1 pocket or envelope on the page.

Examples Here, Here, Here

Requirements - Please see the forum post for full requirements.

  • You will be creating both pages but you will only be sending 1 of the pages to your partner. Which page you send is your decision. You may try and make only 1 if you wish but this is a project so please see the forum for full details.

  • Page must be no smaller than small postcard size. Any paper or card for your page is welcome. Please do not fold your page in the envelope and include a note for your partner.

  • Please rate based on if your partner used the materials, NOT on what your partner has created.

  • Any artistic ability and NO artistic ability is required. Everyone is creative here and anyone can do this swap. You are welcome to join in this project at any time.

  • Please do your best work and do not send slop.

Hi, I know the size of the page is senders choice. But a 5 x 7 inche page would be perfect for my journal. :D
