Description:

It's time to whip out another story! Keep in mind these don't have to be "perfectly" submission-ready. This is an opportunity to practice your writing skills, try out something new perhaps. Whether you're a beginner or more experienced, I hope you'll join now and then.

EDIT: "story" is a somewhat flexible concept, especially in something this short. Remember you aren't rating your partner on the story technicalities. Sometimes there's no specific character. Conflict could be anything from a stroll on the beach to confronting a killer. There may not be a neat resolution either. Just relax and use your creativity.

Here are the directions: The story must be 1000 words in length or less. I usually define a story as having at least one character and a conflict. But here's the famous flash fiction attributed to Ernest Hemingway: "For sale. One pair of baby shoes. Never used." Or something like that.

Just use your imagination. You'll create your story and mail it in an envelope to each partner.

** If you'd like to see these swaps more often or have another twist or want to go with a theme, feel free to host one anytime!

Note: Must have at least 4 signed up by the deadline to continue the swap. Don't sign up unless you're sure you can commit, and don't forget to rate promptly.

Excellent! I find these a great outlet for experimenting w/o a big time commitment. Hope you enjoy.
