Description:

The November 2015 Fandom in a Mini Bag swap is Christmas Movies.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters, movies, etc.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 5 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged. (PLEASE try to make it look full). Different types of items means 5 ATCs, 3 pins, 2 postcards would be 10 items but only 3 different types. The swap requirement is for 5 different types in a bag.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, bookmarks, address labels, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fanfic drabbles/ficlets, etc.

More specific ideas: a list of YOUR favorite Christmas movies, items that might be found in your partner's Christmas movies, DVDs, giftwrapped items, snacks to eat/drink while watching movies, zine of movie quotes, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 quart (AT LEAST 8.5inches by 7 inches or 21.5cm by 18cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a quart in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of November and please send by the deadline (November 30)

Group rating rules apply. NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Flakers will be sent straight to January without getting to celebrate.

I live pretty much all Christmas movies! I even watch all of the Lifetime network movies! My favorites would have to be...A Christmas story (I collect the Hallmark ornaments every year), The Santa Clause, National Lampoons Christmas and all the silly ones!

I love just about any Christmas movie. I love all the versions of A Christmas Carol, also including A Carol Christmas, An American Christmas Carol and Ebbie. I also love two different versions of It's a Wonderful Life - the superb one with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, as well as the TV movie from years ago that switched genders, starring Marlo Thomas and Wayne Rogers (It Happened One Christmas). A Christmas Story is fun, only because I remember that stuff! The Santa Clause trilogy is great, as several Christmas movies that I first saw on ABC Family (like Snow Globe and Holiday in Handcuffs). I just love Fred Claus! About the only one I'm not as fond of are the Home Alone movies. The first and second were good, but I just never considered them Christmas movies, even though they are centered around Christmas. I do like Eloise at Christmastime. I think they did a great job of bringing Eloise to life in both of her movies, and the Christmas one is a joy. I even crack up at Christmas Vacation (my daughter's favorite), but it's not a favorite. Snow and Snow 2 are favorites, especially the first one. But I'm really easy to please when it comes to Christmas movies!

I love Christmas movies!!! But my all time favorite movie is how the Grinch stole Christmas!! I love grandma got ran over by a reindeer, Santa Claus, a Charlie Brown Christmas, the nightmare before Christmas!! I'm really easy and I will be happy with whatever you choose :)

I love Christmas movies. Every year I watch whatever I have on DVD & can stream via Netflix. Absolute favorite: Santa Claus: the movie (1985) (I watch it every year while putting up my tree). Other Favorites: Love Actually, Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, The Holiday. I also like: The Santa Clause, a Charlie Brown Christmas, Home Alone, a Muppet Christmas Carol, A Christmas Carol (especially Patrick Stewart version), Trading Places, Funny Farm, Winnie the Pooh Christmas specials. I also love the Christmas scenes in the Harry Potter movies.

I love ornaments and greeting cards if you want to make any of those with images from Christmas movies. ANYTHING related to Santa Claus: the movie would be especially cherished. I love that movie so much, you have no idea.
