Description:

The purpose of this swap is to make someone's day a little brighter, without needing to spend a great deal of money on postage.

It's really the thought that counts in this one. I'm hoping that our group members from all over the world will enjoy this and I plan to continue doing low-postage flat swaps if I get a positive response!

All group members maintain well-filled-out profiles and meet the requirement of at least a 4.98 rating to join. In the unlikely event that it's necessary, I will angel this swap after you have attempted to contact your partner and honestly rated them a "1" for a no-send.

Here are the rules:

As with all of our swaps:

♥ Read through your partner's complete profile; don't just latch on to the first idea you see, or you could miss out on something important (loves winter but mentions that s/he's not religious and doesn't celebrate holidays?--probably best to save your Christmas-themed items for another swap), or an exciting idea that you'll enjoy even more. Please try to send them things related to their interests that will make them smile :)

♥Be certain to check for your partners' dislikes and avoid sending them, so you don't unintentionally spoil what would otherwise be an absolute delight

You will send your partner 1 envelope containing at least five flat profile surprises (e.g. if s/he loves used stamps, a little baggie with a few in there can count as one item, or a sticker sheet can count as one item). This should go without saying, but I've been asked to clarify: just be reasonable and don't throw 5 loose stickers or stamps in an envelope and call it a day. I very highly doubt that anyone will run into this as I've found our group members to be extremely thoughtful and generous.

Items can be used, new, or handmade, but should be in like-new condition. Please send something of a quality you would like to receive.

In order to receive a 5, your items should meet the criteria of being directly related to your partner's profile interests and be thoughtfully put together especially for her/him (while you don't have to go out and buy everything, this isn't a destash swap). It can be nice to try to send a variety as far as either types or themes of items, and some people mention that they love items along a theme, which can also be absolutely delightful. The important thing is to have fun and show your partner that you care. Five high-quality flat items should be able to fit easily at a single letter rate.

Please rate anyone a 5 as long as they meet these criteria, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Hearts are of course at your own discretion.

♥Please share more ideas below if you've got them!

We will have 10 days to put together and send these once partners have been assigned. Please do not sign up if you can't get your envelopes ready to send out by the send date.

Please remember that letters that are considered nonmachinable are subject to a surcharge. If your envelope is nonmachinable, apply appropriate postage as necessary so that it arrives safely, intact, and without postage due. Square envelopes, envelopes which are very rigid, or envelopes which have buttons or clasps that might catch on machinery are considered nonmachinable.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Have fun swapping! ♥

p.s. This swap is similar to our Flat Profile Surprise with Flair, but this swap includes a guideline for number/amount of items and an external decorative element isn't a requirement.

p.p.s. If you think you'd like to send/receive more specific favorites, or to maybe send only a couple/few items, check out our tag games in the forum!
