Hello Mermaid Lovers!!

This is one of the two Easter themed swaps I'll be hosting for our group. I hope you'll join!

For this swap you'll go out and buy a package of those nifty plastic eggs you're starting to see everywhere. We are going to fill 6 eggs for our partner. And I'm breaking the rules for this one!! Only 2 of the eggs have to be filled with a mermaid, nautical or ocean related gifts. The other 4 eggs should have profile surprises in them. Package your eggs safely and send them to your Mermaid Loving partner.

This is a profile based swap so please pay attention to your partners likes and certainly make sure to avoid any dislikes or goodies that they may be allergic to.

I'm going to set an $8 minimum value. As always, give as you'd like to be given to. Handmade items welcome.

Needs some ideas of what to put in those eggs:

  • Charms

  • Washi Tape

  • A decorated matchbox w/ goodies

  • Beads

  • A little mermaid

  • Shells and Trinkets

  • Trims

  • Tags

  • Edible Goodies

  • Embellishments

  • Rubber Stamps

  • Stickers

  • Jewelry

  • Chocolate

If you guys have more ideas please help me out and add them in the comments below!!

You must have a 4.98 rating or better. No recent 1's or 3's. No newbies--you must have at least 15 rated type 3 swaps to join. I will ban as necessary to keep the swap safe for all.

Happy Easter Mermaid Lovers! Any questions--comment below!

Quick question - what size are the plastic eggs you mean? We have them across here in the UK that are around the size of hens eggs.

thriftymermaid 01/20/2016 #

Any size plastic egg is fine Miss Zoe!!

If you do a US one, I would be interested. The last package I sent internationally was close to $20.00! Even a flat envelope with fabric in it cost $13.00 to India.

Hi Erin, As a USA only version has been set up I am guessing most people who are interested will join that. It isn't fair on you to have to keep sending internationally just for me, so I will drop this swap.

Awww don't drop it Zoe!! Others may join and if it is you and me again--I'm just as happy with that! :o)

@Zoev1975 @thriftymermaid I am sorry if I up set either of you by setting up the swap. I didn't want to do that. I just know some can't send over seas (like me) and wanted to be able to join in the fun.

No worries @DecoPalace Thank you for hosting a USA version. I'm glad if more Mermaid Lover's can join in the fun that way. :o)
