Description:

The October 2016 Fandom in a Bag swap is the Supernatural fandom.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite characters (Dean girl? Sam girl? Bi-bro? Cas fan?), seasons, episodes, moments, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 7 different types of items although more is certainly encouraged (PLEASE try to make it look full).

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, legal music CDs, charms, ornaments, books, bookmarks, address labels, postcards, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fainfic, zines, etc.

More specific ideas: a hunter's journal, fake ID, ghostfacers swag, SPRock (nothing illegally burned), Dean's amulet necklace, special keychain for an impala, peanut M&Ms, pie recipes, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 gallon (measures about 10 inches by 11 inches or 28cm by 26.5 cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a gallon in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month and please send by the deadline (October 31). I'm raising the ratings on this swap because I'm tired of getting flaked on in SPN swaps.

NO FLAKING ALLOWED! Hell hounds will be sent after all flakers.

Hi all, I'm a Dean and Cas girl, although Team Free Will is awesome. Face it l like all the guys. Lol! I adore fanfic and fan art, leaning especially towards Destiel, as well as the actual SPN novels. I love all of the strong female characters, Donna, Jody, Charlie, & Claire. The over arching theme of love and family in the series is great although those boys need to learn to stop being in a hurry to kill themselves each other. I think my all time favorite episode is Faith from season one.

Please note that I'm a season and a half behind (on purpose; just trying to make it last). So no spoilers, okay? Have only seen up until the musical episode. Things I love:

  • The whole show!!!
  • The impala
  • Team Free Will FTW!
  • Season 3 is my favorite (oohhhh the angst!!!! And Mystery Spot... and the Christmas episode and Bad Day at Black Rock), followed by Season 8
  • Charlie (I named my girl cat Charlie after her! I named my other girl cat, Cassie, after Castiel, but Cassie passed away a few weeks ago)
  • Bobby is awesome!
  • The family business and the family dynamic
  • The dynamic Crowley brings to the show
  • I ship Wincest pretty hard, but I also like and have written: Destiel, Jess/Sam, Jess/Sam/Dean AU, Dean/Lisa, Sassy

I've got a Samulet, several nice buttons/necklaces, a few of the books, most of the POP figures (message me if you want to know which I have/don't have), and an Impala matchbox car. Things I'd LOVE to receive: SPN hurt/comfort fanart or fanfic recs (gen or slash preferred; I also love family dynamics during teenchester and weechester fics), Castiel angel Christmas tree topper, and SPRock. Would also LOVE an SPN board game, but that's a little out of this swap's price range, so no worries there LOL. I do have several friends who love SPN, so if you happen to send something I already have, I will still be able to find it a loving home. I never say no to ATCs!
