Congress is supposed to pass a real budget at the end of this month. We'll see what actually happens.
Anyway, for this swap you will send your partner a breakdown of how you'd like to see your tax dollars spent. Please use percentages and your percents should equal 100!
You can send a postcard, a letter, or whatever best conveys your information. Feel free to be as creative as you'd like, with graphs, charts, whatever. But a simple list is also fine!
Be as specific or as generic as you want (meaning you can say, for example, 30% towards education, or break it down into 10% for building new schools and 20% for teacher salaries).
It is optional but encouraged that you send a copy of this budget to Chairperson Diane Black of the House Budget Committee. Their address is :
COMMITTEE ON THE BUDGET: U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES B-234 Longworth House Office Building Washington, DC 20515
Newbies welcome. Please have a well filled out profile.! No recent unexplained 1s or 3s. I will angel if appropriately notified and your partner rated.
