The Swap

This is the final of 4 in this ATC series for this group. In this series, we've been celebrating each of the seasons by combining artwork and our own, original, haiku about the season at hand. Now, it's time to conclude the series with the last ATC and haiku celebrating summer.

Create a summer inspired ATC and, on the ATC, include a haiku that you have written about the summer season.

In case you're wondering, a haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world

The Administrative Details:

  • 1 ATC to 1 partner

  • Create a summer inspired piece of art. You may draw, paint, collage, or stamp out your ATC design but please don't slap a sticker of a flower or butterfly on it, paste your haiku over and call it a day.

  • The ATC must have a haiku, written by you, about the season of summer included somewhere on it.

  • This is sender's choice so you can start creating now and have it ready to go when partners are assigned!

  • Thanks to all who participated in this series. I hope you had fun and now have a lovely, seasonal haiku collection. :)

The Rules of the Road:

  • Your ATC must be 2.5"x3.5" (64mmx89mm).

  • It must be created using a sturdy backing such as cardstock, cereal boxes, or pre-cut ATC blanks that you can purchase.

  • It must be sent in a protective sleeve or small envelope of some sort.

  • Send on time.

  • Rate promptly and fairly. You cannot rate down because you didn't like what you received if it meets the requirements of the swap otherwise. Hearts are at the discretion of the rater.

Note: We will remove non-raters from the group if this becomes an issue (I don't expect that it will be).

  • I certainly don't expect anyone to flake in this swap but if that does happen, please let me know after you rate a 1 and I will angel. Please note that anyone who flakes will be immediately removed from this group.
