Description:

We're going to do an add and pass with a major twist. Start with a 4 inch by 4 inch card. Tangle on approximately a quarter of it. No strings are necessary. Send it in an envelope to your partner.

When you receive a card, tangle enough that it's about half full. The next player adds about a quarter, then the last player finishes it.

Now, here's the twist. Leave a tangle at the edge of your section open for someone else to continue. For instance, in the example above, the first player (black ink) left the ends of barber pole open and left onomato open. .. The red player added to barber pole and onamato, added squid and Joki. She left the end of Barber pole open again and left one of the Jokis unfinished. .. Green player finished the Barber Pole and the Joki, then added Hollibaugh behind the red player's Squid, and left the ends of the Hollibaugh open for the next player. .. The last player (orange) finished the Hollibough and filled in the rest of the tile. (In a real swap, the players would not be using different colored inks. I just did that to show what each player did).

So, are you up to it? Here's an example of this concept in a different format:

See how each person left a little something across the line for the next person to add on? That's kind of what I had in mind. I don't want everyone to treat this as just another add and pass. I want it to look like a cohesive whole.

I hope I explained this right. If you have questions, please message me and I'll try to explain it better.

It would be nice if the last person posted a picture in the Comments of each person's profile who worked on it, so we can all see how it turned out. :-)

Everyone put your swap-bot ID on the back of the card, along with the name of the swap and the date. Thank you.

It would be impossible to angel this one, so please don't flake!

I'm making this USA only because of the time it takes to mail international. I want this to be done in a relatively short time.
