Description:

I am continuing a series of Journal swaps from last year. You may join as many or as few as you wish. For these swaps, we are sending PAGES of a journal, not the full journal. It will help keep postage down, and prevent anyone from loosing their full journal. I hope you'll join in!

Please take the time to fully read the whole swap and requirements! Yes, it's a lot.

This is an International swap, and a Type 3, as you should spend some time on your journal entries.

Requirements first: Before you join, you MUST meet these criteria, or you will be dropped from the swap:

You must have 10 completed, rated type 3 (only) swaps

You must have a 4.98 or above rating.

Any 1's or 3's on your profile must be taken care of, commented on, and none within the last 3 months. (If you are in the process of re-sending or waiting for a re-rate, please contact me before you sign up)

You MUST sign in to swap-bot within 2 days of sign up deadline, or you will be dropped.

You need to have a very well filled out profile.

If I send you a PM, you must reply before partners are assigned. If I have a question about your swapping history, I need to know about this ahead of time!

I send emails (rather than PM's) about the swap. You must reply to any emails I send, unless stated otherwise.

You MUST send on time, or contact your partner AND ME (as host) if you have to be late. There are several rounds of these swaps, and you risk being banned in future rounds. Problem swappers are also reported on the forum and to flaker groups.

OK! Now the Swap!

For this swap, you will be sending 3 full sized (8.5x11 or A4) sized sheets to your partner. You may neatly fold the pages to fit into a standard sized envelope. Pages do not need to be mailed flat

You may type or neatly hand write the journal entries. You must complete all 3 parts of this swap, with one topic on each page. You may continue from the front to the back of the page, but each topic should be on a new sheet.

EACH ENTRY should be no less than 500 words in length. If typed, that is not a full page. This is a JOURNAL swap, so you need to be ready to write! You may, of course, write more! 500 words is the minimum.

On the top of the first page, please type or write the swap name (be sure to include the number!), your user name, and the date.

Page 1 You will write a biography of yourself. You do not have to go into private details, but tell more than just what is on your profile page. You can add likes and interests, how you got started on swapping or on swap-bot, just be sure you have at least 500 words in length.

Page 2 You will write a journal entry about your day or week. What did you do, where did you go, did anything spacial happen, anything you are looking forward to? Again, be sure to write a minimum of 500 words in length.

Page 3 You will write to a journal prompt for this page. You may choose any one from the list below (or, if you cannot do the full 500 words on one topic, you may choose 2 topics.)

*What is your biggest fear? Why are you afraid of it?

*Write a narrative about a time that you were really, truly happy

*Think of the person closest to you whether it be a parent, friend or significant other, and describe them. How did you meet?

*Think about a time where you acted 100% selflessly. How did you feel upon completing the action?

This swap is not profile based, so you can start on it when you first sign up. If you have any questions, please send me a PM with any questions or concerns.
You are not required to decorate the pages in any way, but you may decorate them if you wish, or use patterned paper. The requirements you need to meet are the 3 individual pages, the 3 topics, and the 500 words or more per entry. If you receive your swap meeting requirements, please rate your partner a 5.

I will angel this swap, if you are flaked on, once you have contacted your partner, and rated a 1.

I call this series the Collected Journal because we can collect our journal pages in a binder or folder. That isn't a requirement, it is simply for you. You may join as many or as few rounds as you wish. Thank you to @AmericanHeriess and @draco for allowing me to build on your ideas to create this one. :) I plan to host a new round of this swap about every 5-6 weeks with the same rules, but with different journal prompts.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please send me a PM. I don't check comments often, but do check my messages daily. If you have any questions or if you are new to swap-bot and don't yet have the required number of ratings, please send me a PM. Maybe we can work on a private swap, or I can pair you up with another new swapper.

As host, I reserve the right to remove anyone from the swap that I think will cause issues or drama, or has had issues in the past. I"m not a monster, I'm just trying to avoid problems.
