Description:

Dogs love scraps right?

How about us? Do we love our left over rubber stamp pieces?

Are you good at using up those rubber scraps? For this swap, create a postcard using a hand carved stamp made using scraps. You know, those corners and extra pieces left over after you have carved another stamp. Most likely this will create a smaller stamp.

The image example is by the beautiful user2148 (Nickalli) who made a small stamp and then stamped in such perfect lines - I'm mesmerized!

Create a handmade postcard using your scrap carving. You may use other stamps (hand carved or store bought) as well as other techniques.

Sender's choice.

This swap is designed to inspire (force) us to figure out how to not waste those pink corners of our rubber. I won't put a size limit on how to define "scrap" but be reasonable, eh?

Have the most fun you've had all summer!

Here's another cute small stamp ...

You'll notice that I don't specify that the "Scrap" stamp has to be the dog part of the postcard. So, feel free to use any scrap stamp you have but keep the postcard theme - D O G.

:-))))

Hi Angie, so just to confirm - the DOG piece of the MailArt does not necessarily have to be a scrap OR a carved stamp, correct? While the PC is about DOG, the scrappy rubber stamp image/s are their own separate pice of the overall beauty..., Yes?
