Description:

Edited: Like many hostesses, I have changed the send by date to May 31st to help account for uncertainties that people may be experiencing in their life. You certainly can mail out before this date of course.

For this swap, you will create one (1) ATC for one (1) partner that fits the wacky holiday of the month. It is open to your interpretation, but your partner must be able to understand where you are going with it just by looking at the ATC.

The holiday for April is: Take A Chance Day which falls on April 23rd.

Take this opportunity to make an ATC unlike any other that you have made before. Try your hand at a: crazy collaged creature...a zetti...something colorful...something black and white...etc. The idea is to just let yourself go and take that risk and do something that you wouldn’t normally do; be creative.

When joining this swap, understand that you may get something crazy. Do not rate down because of this. The idea of the swap is that your partner “let their hair down” and took a chance.

Some Basics:

~ ATC's are 2.5" x 3.5" (6.35 cm x 8.9 cm) in size.

~ Your ATC should be on a sturdy background; it shouldn't be easily bent. A single sheet of card stock is not a sturdy background.

~Also, make sure your "front" is properly adhered to your "back". Standard double stick scotch tape doesn't usually work and neither do some glues.

~ Your ATC may be orientated (portrait or landscape) however you choose.

~ Use quality prints if you are using computer printouts. (This is generally 300 x 300 dpi.)

~ Stickers are OK, but sticker slapping is not.

~ On the back of the ATC, you must write the Date and Name of the Holiday, the date made, and your swap-bot ID. I also like to add my City and State, but that is not required.

~ Please place your ATC in a protective sleeve before sending it off in the mail.

~ Create a quality ATC that you would like to receive back had you not made it yourself.

I reserve the right to ban problematic swappers at my discretion. I will angel if necessary.
