Poker Swap #1

Get yourself a deck of cards with an interesting picture/shape. (If you already have a regular deck of cards that is missing some of the cards, feel free to use that.) Make sure you label the deck as being for Poker Swaps so there's no mix ups. Remove any "instruction cards." Shuffle the deck. "Deal" one card to each of your 5 partners. When you receive your 5 cards, "play" your hand in the group. You don't win anything. It's purely for the fun. So please don't cheat.

A swap will then be held for what to do with the no longer needed cards. So don't throw them away! :) Following the craft swap will be another poker swap...then so on.....Each of the following swaps will probably be group swaps, so join the "Poker Swappers" group.

(There is no requirement to join all swaps. If you want to play but not craft, that is A okay!)

Almost forgot: Jokers are wild! Also, if you are using novelty cards that have different symbols for the suits, you will need to give them the right suits. For example, I will be using a pumpkin card deck. Instead of hearts, clubs, diamonds, and spades, I have Frankensteins, witches, Draculas, and spiders. So I wrote on all the Frankensteins the word heart; on all the witches the word club; on all the Draculas the word diamond; and on all the spiders the word spade.
